  1. Also Alec Guinness was cut in two, seven years earlier in “Cromwell”.
    Final words comparison:
“I go from a corruptible to an incorruptible crown”
“If you strike me down I shall become more powerful than you can ever imagine”

  2. If you read about geniuses through history, they all seem to have one thing in common. In addition to having brilliant ideas, they all have come up with more than a few really, really dumb ideas too. Lucas fits in there very nicely.

  3. One that was left out was the officer that said, "Freeze!" in the bunker on Endor was Ben Burtt, the master of modern sound design who helped created Darth Vader's breathing, blaster fire, Chewbacca's growl, among others.

  4. 30:13 I kinda prefer the Obi won killed your dad thing more….the whole 'from a certain point of view', felt like a half baked attempt of Obiwon weaseling out of lying to luke. Also, the whole idea of Obiwon being more powerful than anyone could imagine has yet to happen, imo, anyhow. shrug

  5. Lucas didn't want Ford for Indiana Jones either for the same reason. Although he had even more reason now that Ford was Han Solo. Spielberg wanted Ford and Lucas finally agreed after Selleck backed out. Imagine a world where Lucas was more stubborn and Ford doesn't play either character.

  6. Kyber crystals don't "power all" lightsabers. There are tons of other types of crystals that can do the same thing as Kyber crystals. Which is another thing. The crystal doesnt power the lightsaber, it focuses the plasma beam when it comes out of the emitter. They're powered by a micro-fusion battery pack, or large wearable battery packs in the case of the ancient first generations of lightsabers.
