  1. Daemonhunters is a pretty good take on the XCOM 2 formula. However, the recent heavily overpriced, misleading, and frankly underwhelming DLC tarnishes the experience somewhat.

  2. How about ‘Nobunaga’s ambition: Shinsei’ released this summer. It seems that no one is playing it on YouTube yet but I believe it’s got the potential to be the same level as ck3 or viki3

  3. IXION is truly great, I don't mind the fixed, high level difficulty, it makes it a real challenge which requires some very deep lateral thinking and planning ahead. If you can't hack it, keep trying and think outside the box.

  4. Ixion is absolutely worth the money. Music is especially the highlight of it – It's done by the same guy that did soundtrack to Mechanicus. Absolute blast. Gameplaywise – top notch, bit demanding with micro, but nothing you cant overcome, especially if you played games like Frostpunk etc before (hint – 2 infirmaries per sector are your best friends!). I literally didnt do anything else on the release weekend than just played this game – it was so addictive. Highly recommended.

  5. I've got no issues with a challenging game. However, my problem with Ixion is that the logistics is not challenging…it's just frustrating and doens't feel well designed and spoils the rest of the game for me. I've put it down until the devs will hopefully address it.

  6. I would be totally into king Arthur if it was just the classic king Arthur vs darkness trope. Trying to be edgy and make Mordred the "good guy" just turned me off from it completely

  7. The problems with Ixion is not that its hard as the game is real easy its the bugs and poor controls/UI that make it seem hard when its not. The none stop accidents are super annoying and happen far to much when clearly they should not be. The UI fights you making it hard to move items across sectors many times it looks like its all set up right for nothing to happen at all. The Cyropods been 90% useless people is another problem you need workers but 9/10 pods are none workers filling up sectors and eating tons of food/power. The unlock system is just bad and drags out everything to the point you are wasting like 20-40 odd turns or more for Tec you need but you guessed the order wrong so tough now you got to waste a ton of turns. The stupid Ship UI that can only go head on to everything leading to small ships blowing them selfs up none stop and force's you to mark everything to get them to avoid areas and even then they still like to sucide.

  8. Embers Adrift is an indie mmo with no cash shop and weekly updates. Best game ive played in a long time and best armor system ive seen in any game.

  9. I love KA:KT, but Ixion was horrible to me, and I would refund if I could. It is not challenging (I play challenging games, like frostpunk, Elden Ring and against the storm), it's all rote and memory. 100% scripted. If you fail, just restart AGAIN, and click where you should have clicked. It's set up if you don't keep your crew "Optimized AND Happy", you really can't win in the end. No wiggle room before all the domines start to fall.

  10. ı've always been interested in TCGs, and the game that improved my strategy and tactics so much is a blockchain TCG, Cometh Battle. I keep playin the other games but cometh worth my time and energy. gameplay, art, mechanics are awesome. also profitable and constantly updated.

  11. I just discovered my favourite tactical game of 2022–Symphony of War, a very under appreciated game. The silly story gets in the way of the game at times but it is still well worth playing and has replayability as well.
