6 dead, 8 hurt after fiery car crash in Windsor Hills

At least six people were killed and eight were injured in a fiery multi-vehicle crash at a gas station on South La Brea and Slauson avenues Thursday afternoon, officials said.

The cause of the crash was under investigation by the CHP, but authorities confirmed that the driver is a 40-year-old woman who suffered major injuries while driving “a two-door Mercedes traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on La Brea.”

That woman is in the hospital. Meanwhile, friends and families of the victims and those who witnessed the crash are struggling to accept what happened.

I feel so sorry for the victims one of a lady who was having baby number two to the doctor so her and her boyfriend and her 11 month baby boy went with her she died her boyfriend died and her 11 month as well that is so sad I don't even know them and I was crying . The lady with that car I have no sympathy for u or your problems this will be with her for the rest of her life .

  16. The way she went through that intersection it looked like she was trying to commit suicide cuz she was angry at her boyfriend. Some people do that they can't take the pain that they feel through a heartbreak and they just want to end their life and don't care about anyone else that they take out on the way I know she was drunk but I wouldn't be surprised if they find out she ran through that intersectional purpose and was suicidal. And the friends are idiots too.I would have taken her keys and hid them from her. call her a Uber or something. this could have been prevented
