Hello,
I love your vlogs. I look forward to them. They are a few minutes of peacefulness and serenity for me.
I live in the USA. I just moved to the mountains so I can explore and enjoy the gorgeous nature. I am also a huge fan of moss.😊
I was wondering if you could put fencing around the cavern holes so deer don't fall down in them?
Good luck to you in your island ventures. ❤
The moss is a great touch with the stone steps and pathway. Curious if you forage for shellfish around the island shore, mud flats, and rock pools. All the best !
The Laird of the glen …great beginning .
What an amazing job you have done with steps and rockery , it will look even more beautiful in the spring summer . The photos are really amazing and clear spring is definitely almost here 💚
Hi Scott, old OS maps show a track running from where you land the boat over the top of the island to the building you identified as an old saw mill. Is this an alternative possible route?
This is an artists dream. Nature at her most majestic.
Could you imagine a more perfect place.
❤️
I came across your channel 2 days ago while i was ill in bed it is such a pleasure to watch such calmness of beautiful scenery and the gentle music which brought healing to my bones you both are amazing and i continue to follow your progress x
Lovely vlog as usual, Scott and Kate.
The moss was a beautiful idea. As a fellow lover of moss you may be interested in the book, Gathering Moss, by Robin Wall Kimmerer. Great read.
I am very much looking forward to your bee adventure! I intend to learn much from you, Kate! Thank you so much for sharing your interests.
Hello Scott & Katie….. lovely episode full of the promise of spring, can’t wait. Katie you have such a lovely relationship with your sheep, they seem very intelligent and calm… you are giving them such a wonderful life they are very lucky indeed. See you both soon xx❤❤
Looking great! Love the moss…
What an interesting place of discovery. The vista's and stone formations are amazing, along with all the lovely kinds of mosses. Watching from South Dakota, USA.
I share your love for moss, Katie- but mine didn’t do very well. I am sure yours will survive and thrive! ❤
Moss gives oxygen ❤
The moss addition to the front of the cottage looks amazing. So green and fresh looking with the grey stairs . A job well done. So enjoy the harp music as we tour parts of the island. Incredible landscapes. Shaking hands with your sheep. How special is that. Love it!!
Wet the moss
It will help it to bind
I was a female plasterer

If you need any tips on plastering

I am 70+ now. So let me know
If you have any holes
Where about in Scotland are you on the island?
Why not consider keeping a milking goat. They would also eat a lot stuff that would then clear the land.
Not sure if anyone has suggested this, or if you have considered it, but you may find a GoPro type camera helpful. You can strap it on leaving your hands free for walking sticks and such… love what you have done thus far…looking forward to seeing what you accomplish going forward.
Another fabulous video guys….so enjoyable and interesting, as always. Katie thank you, you have taught me something I didn't know about apple trees. I have two but every year the leaves are diseases so I have brutally pruned last autumn…kill or cure I suppose. Talking about tress I was wondering how much of the land on the island you own and is the whole island owned by anyone personally? Might be a silly question but when you chop trees down do you have to ask for permission from anyone? Thanks again for sharing your incredible lives. P.S. The cats really are living the dream…love Jeeves in the box.
