The California Highway Patrol confirmed on Sunday a five-year-old girl was shot and killed on Interstate 880 in Milpitas Saturday night a Bay Area freeway. The little girl’s name is Eliyanah. Her family has asked us to withhold her last name due to their own safety concerns and we have done that.
Eliyanah was fatally struck by a bullet as her family drove southbound along Interstate 880 in Milpitas Saturday just before 7 p.m. She was hit near Dixon Landing Road.
