5 Tips for Quick Miniature Figures | 3D Print with Elegoo Mars 3 | SpeedPaint

This week we are looking at how to quickly fill your dioramas and scenes with minis. I often have to do loads of figures for a scene and I have been slowly getting my process faster and faster. I am sharing the tips I use to quickly print and paint minis. I will do a follow up video on how to paint minis using other quick methods that work well for me.

Thanks to Elegoo who provided the Mars 3 – I already have a Mars and I love this little printer so much! It’s a 4K mono screen and so fast which is perfect for this video!

  1. Nice work Kathy.
Resin printing for Mini's is the way to go. Wish I had one sometimes.
Printing large features and buildings with my FDM printer is still a good option though. 👍

  2. Excellent, will be putting some of these into practice for sure. I have a meta-tip for people who work similarly to me: When batch-painting, jump around models very often. I tend to hyper-focus on details if I'm working on one object… switching reminds me of the overall context and makes it more likely I'll actually do a speed paint and not fall back into obsessiveness. Saves a lot of time 🙂
