  1. I know you usually talk about narcissism, and narcissists. But I’ve been struggling with something that I guess pertains to setting boundaries and I wonder if you could make a video to answer my question. My family has been going through a lot this past year. I want to help my family as much as I can, but I’m getting stressed out, and worn out. Everyone else in our home is also. They keep asking me to help with certain things and I’ve complied. I have a hard time saying no. I feel stressed, but I know they are also, and I want to ease their load. I ask myself “what would Jesus do” but he died for the world and I certainly don’t feel like I could do that. I want to follow the golden rule, but that gives me more things that are causing stress. How can I convince myself that it is ok to say no, and not feel guilty about it? I want to do the right thing, but I don’t feel like I know what that is.

  2. @Kris_Reece another analogy about gardening I heard recently is that seeds are planted in the dark depths of the muddy dirt, but up comes a brand new healthy plant in time. I thought it was a great analogy! I think it was Passion For Truth (Jim Staley).

  3. Kris, I'm the Director of a counseling center. I recommend your channel all the time! Please keep helping others, blending it with God's Word. Too few people do that, and God is the only way to have resilience in life, especially dealing with behavioral heath issues!! Love you sister!!

  4. Asking God to reveal our heart to us is poweful, fact is we’re all sorta messed up this side of heaven and it makes us want to extend grace for bitterness. Not to be a doormat by any measure, but also not to be so anti people that everyone is a toxic narcissist is not good either. I hope and pray all are healing and doing ok, We need Jesus more than ever in these dark, dark days. Only He can restore us to be better than new!

  5. The worse thing about these kinds of people is when it’s a parent bringing up a child by themselves to a world like this and that child thinks it’s perfectly acceptable to behave in such a way…until in your mid life someone who’s been through it tells you what your own mother is. Then you have to restart your entire life again and try to remove all that programming

  6. Setting boundaries. And then onlookers judge ones actions. That is where humility comes in. God has told me to distance myself from her. I explained it to a family member weeks ago. Yesterday he said it was unkind of me.
(I would spend up to 12 hours at her house. Now I stay home. She knows where I am. 50 meters from her back door as we live next door to each other.
Yet she laments she is lonely and isolated.

At least if she comes to my house, there are my rules.

    Her choice.

Yesterday she came over and spent 2 hours doing a pity party.
But I could change the subject and I did, because its my house and I choose the topics of conversation.

God has given me the strength to stay away, now I see I need the humility to be judged and not defend myself.

So I told that family member thst God told me to make boundaries.

So much easier to tell the truth.

May God our Father be our goal and the Holy Spirit guide us and Jesus fill our hearts.

  7. Let us all hope and pray that God does to the narcissists what He did to the Exodus Pharaoh. Pharaoh repeatedly hardened his own heart… until God hardened Pharaoh's heart. Then Pharaoh could not unharden his heart, because what God has hardened remains hardened. Then Pharaoh the narcissist knew that Yehovah is the LORD, when God poured His vengeance upon him. Amen.

  8. I haven't finished this video but I do want to say the narcissist does not get away unscathed. The narcissist does not know God's love and forgiveness. The narcissist has no understanding of what love and forgiveness truly is. Everything is transactional. There will come a time when the narcissist will have to answer for the evil he has done

  9. Kris, i thank you in the name of our Lord for your work. You have helped me tremendously.
I come from Germany and have a question. Can we dare to dream that your books, especially "Make it Matter", will also be available in German? Will there be a German translation?
God bless you. I have you in my prayers.

  10. So I posted a comment on a previous video about narcissism towards a loved one and before I even had chance to mentally prepare for the difficult conversation, it already exploded in front of me. Now although I’m technically homeless, I’ve never been more happy and free. God was preparing me for the inevitable and in order to get them stop being so toxic. I have cut them off entirely.

  12. Why does God allow narcissists to inflict suffering on others, especially women, for extended periods? It seems that extensive harm is necessary for God to strengthen individuals. Shouldn't God prevent narcissists from abusing others initially? Many women face prolonged abuse, and it's unjust for victims to endure extended harm while narcissists remain unpunished. When standing up to narcissists, do they usually escalate their harmful behavior, causing further damage? Why does god make a wonderful woman suffer at their narcissism for decades 😢

  13. Had a good friend for 10 years and we became lovers after 10 years. When we were friends he had never came to my home. When we advance the relationship and he came to my home he quickly became a change person and started to subtle emotionally abuse me overtime. It was a different side of him I have never seen before. As time pass I realize he was jealous of my home and the things I had in it, envious of my life and my achievements and insecure over it. He started to treat me bad to my confusion. It was like he became a total different person. God expose this narcissist! I had a dream and I dreamt he came inside my house but in my dream he was looking like a white upright dog looking and he came inside my home and was looking around then I started to see his demeanor changed and I saw like viscous looking teeth started to show on him then the dream end. I then realize from he became closer to me and I let him in my home and he saw that my position wasn’t as he thought he got angry. I believe he saw me as someone that because I am humble and quiet and wouldn’t achieve much. He is a wolf in sheep clothing. It is hard but I am cutting him off.
