  1. Thanks for watching folks! Which do YOU think are plausible? Leave a comment down below and LIKE/SUBSCRIBE to support the channel!

EDIT: I should also clarify- YES Snape does become DADA professor. This theory just discusses why Dumbledore wasn't giving it to him / why it took so long.

  2. I believe Snape wasn’t a vampire and, in fact, died in the Shrieking Shack. Key words being the Shrieking Shack. The reason his body wasn’t found is because, besides Harry, Ron, and Hermione, everyone who knew how to enter it was dead!

And the reason Harry wouldn’t have “conjured” him in the forest is because besides Remus and possibly Lily, James and Sirius still didn’t like or trust him. Plus, Snape knew Harry was poor at occlumency and Voldemort could have seen into Harry’s mind that The wand belonged to Draco and not Snape and gone after Draco first.

  3. I still think that Dumbledore refused to give Snape the DADA position not only to protect him from the position's curse, but because he was so skilled at Potions and the best fit for that position. Heck, he rewrote the textbook as a kid.

  5. There is a potion known even to the Muggle playwright William Shakespeare, which simulates the appearance of death for a certain time. Shakespeare had his Character Romeo take it in the last act of the play Romeo and Juliet. Since Snape was walking a dangerous tightrope with Voldemort, he might have kept a vial of it on his person at all times. Considering that Snape had seen Voldemort use Nagini to kill various individuals, it is common sense that he would also carry the antidote for her venom. That would also explain the eccentric clothing Snape always wore. His costume had secret pockets sewn in where he could conceal vials of various potions. Seeing himself under attack from Nagini, Snape realized that it was time to fake his death and disappear. He would have known how to make the antidote and the false death potions compatible, maybe even combine them in a single dose. While waiting for the potions to take effect, he left Harry a memory to explain himself and his actions. After awakening, since Britain contained only bitter memories, he would have left the country forever. A haircut, a change of clothes, and a flask of polyjuice potion would have been all he needed to evade attention as he left the country. After years working side by side with Mrs. Pomfrey, and with his knowledge of potion making, he could have easily set himself up as a healer in any country town in the world.

  6. the problem with snape being alive and not being found was he wasn't on hogwarts grounds in the book. In the book he was in the shrieking shack if I remember correctly. In the movie he was on the grounds of the school in the boathouse..

  7. The curse on the DADA position has got to be the weirdest magic we ever hear of being cast in all of HP. Like its so weirdly prophetic and affects the future in strange unknown ways. Seems really weird to me that even voldemort would be able to use magic like that. I guess he is insanely powerful but if magic like that exists its strange it doesnt seem to be used in any other ways. I mean there are prophecies and divination and stuff but its just strange magic.

  8. Snape wasn't a vampire, he was just emo. He was full of anger, sadness, and self pity, if not self loathing to some extent. He didn't have heightened senses, his intuition such as the library scene, is no different than how Dumbledore flat out knew when Harry was under the cloak. He was a powerful wizard and wasn't easily fooled like the average person. Kinda like how the Jedi Mind Trick doesn't work on certain people. The bat like shape Harry saw? It's the only way Harry could explain flying without a broom, which he likely didn't know it was possible. It's been made clear that Snape was one of the only others who could fly as Voldemort did. His quizzing of Harry is just JKR dropping very veiled hints that Snape wasn't evil as he appears.

  9. I've got a few more that indicate he's a vampire. 1) In the books he is described as extremely pale. 2)When he substituted for Lupin's class after the full moon, he was closing up the shutters when he entered the room.3) He is REALLY good at ocululomancy. 4) It would explain why he wasn't among the dead in the great hall – he just needed time for Nagini's venom to get out of his system. 4) So what if he was out in daylight. By the 90's we had sunblock of greater than SPF15. Why couldn't a potions master create one? (If you've actually read the famous novel by Bram Stoker, he DOES go in daylight, but the powers are limited.)

  10. Yeah, Snape isn't a vampire, which JKR stated specificially, but he'd make a good one. I did a role play where our Snape was a half vampire. That meant he could go out in the sunlight for short periods of time and didn't have to sleep in a coffin during the day. It worked out really well.

  11. So would the Twilight zone movies align with the world as well being wolves and vampires but not having magic the way they do in harry potter. Also what about a video idea of a scenrio in which harry and malfoy are friends instead of ron and harry since the beginning.

  12. Snape was a marauder, he may well have had his own copy of a map, perhaps something else or even more. Snape is an enigma but honestly one for good overall in my opinion. Going back to the map, if Snape had a copy I'd imagine he'd have a master copy or perhaps even something more impressive to explain his comings and goings and the fact he almost saw right through the invisibility cloak when Harry was wearing it, a deathly hollow, or perhaps he could smell Lilly on Harry, he has heightened senses for sure but I doubt he's a vampire honestly even though it appears as though he lives as though he is dead. Snape is much like Harry, they are both generals in a war against darkness, one unwitting, the other bearing the pain of truth, almost like father and son.
