  1. Nexomon and Nexomon:Extinction are both so great with it art style, monster desings, story and meta comedy that makes it stand out. That why I love these both games.

  2. I’ve played both games and I love the comedy and monster designs. I really love that in Nexomon 2 I could get a Ghost starter. Love the ghosts types.

  3. Well since I’ve beaten the first game, might as well get the second.
Tho I think the first game’s roster is rather bland. Sometimes there should be quality over quantity.

  4. I already have Nexomon Extinction,I do reccomend it for people who like the classic pokemon style of the game basically it's very plays like Gen 1-4 but with more of it's own style. Not to mention the Monster designs are really good.

  5. I'm a little late, but would you say that Extinction is worth the buy for a newcomer to the series, or would it be better to wait for the third installment?

  6. Nexomon has a good cast of characters and personality. That and I still recommend buying the first since it's fairly cheap and still has a good story. There's also some areas of speculation as to the entire story where there are little lore hints here and there hinting to possible future sequels. I could go on about these small details that I've found however I'll let you look for them yourselves.

  7. My biggest gripe with Nexomon is how sparse and similar the movesets are between Nexomon of the same type. I would have loved for each of my Nexomon to be able to learn more than just two types/elements of moves.

The TM and Move Tutor system used by Pokemon is still the gold standard for optimizing movesets and I think a lot of "clones" miss out by not having a system like that included in their games. I know Nexomon can relearn deleted moves, but there was so much more that could have been done there.

Like, when I first found out a Charizard could learn Solarbeam I was floored. Move tutoring just adds way more depth and room for exploration and experimentation with movesets.
