Chaos terminators are absolutely insane! Terminator armor turns its bearer into a walking tank, and a nearly indestructible killing machine. well the space marine forces of the imperium of man, still have the ability to create new terminator armor, the chaos space marines do not. This means each of their surviving suits is beyond ancient! and after having spent 10,000 years in the eye of terror, the corrupting influence of the warp has twisted these once honored suits of armor (and the veterans that wore them) into a twisted mockery of nobility. each of the chaos terminators is wildly different than each other. Today were going to be taking a look at 5 of my favorites. one of which is so new to the lore that were going to have to do some reading between the lines. If you all like this video I will do a follow up with the rest of them.

can i just say… i don't play.. nor am I truly interested in 4dk … (let any commentors hate me, I deserve it)… but your (Wes's) passion about this subject, with all of its wild nonsense, twists, and turns … well that … and his talent at describing the lore…, has me (a true heathen) hooked on listening to all of his thoughts on this subject. I hope he continues to make videos for a long time incoming … even if I never examine any lore beyond his videos.
As always, your narration is on point, you should read (or even write, why not, I mean fan fiction is a thing) WH40K lore. Anyway, keep up the good work.

Recently got into 30k with a death guard army. The Deathshroud Terminators are pretty good but boy are they expensive! A full squad of 10 is 700 points lol
My buddy plays Iron Warrior and the siege terminators are stupid good. You have to get something to charge them asap or they'll wipe you out from across the table.
I have to say the clean looks of non chaos terminator armour is better.
Honestly I think the iron warriors had the best, one thing I wished I saw was not storm bolters but assault cannons on all of them and either a shield or just a hammer so they are walking hailstorms of destruction

If you watch the movie Event Horizon (1997) with the premise that the events from the film are one of humanity's first encounters with the warp…it makes it a really good watch as you can see the same sort of effects of warp corruption occurring. Just a thought that made it a good watch again 🙂

One problem with this and its something GW is guilty of is that not all chaos armor is relec armour infact id guess most of it isnt. Chaos SM are known to raid forge worlds and chapter homeworlds for amour and for the plans to recreate and maintain armor. So allthough the warriors are old thier gear mostly isnt.

The Night Lords members have some of the most tragic backstories. Children becoming killers and cannibals to survive the horrific situation that reappeared after the Night Haunter left. Jago, haunted and in pain from his powers. Killing other boys to feed the crows he lived with and eating what the crows left of them. Kellenkir, forced to grow up and take care for his brother Kellendvar. Having to kill, cook, and eat other children to live. Being in constant fear that they'll be found by others and killed. Living like that while seeing the rich aristocracy feasting and living lavish lives, doing what they want because they had money and power. The Night Lords are some absolutely brutal and despicable bastards, but it's strange the amount of sympathy you can have for them when you read how they had to grow up. I really hope you do a deep dive into the Night Lords, on the surcafe they are just brutal and sadistic murderers, but if you scratch the surface they are usually quite tragic.
