5 Great Albums & Great Big Shout to All of YOU! The Tribe is 34,000 Strong! #vinyl community #vclt

Hey folks!

As I say in this very video I wasnโ€™t going to release this video here on the main channel!

But as I reviewed it in editing, I felt this video was long overdue!

First of all I cover 5 albums that were sent to me by my buddy Royce from Royce in the House! Royce btw, streams his show every Sunday at 6:30 PM, Pacitic Standard Time.

But then I get into exactly how I run the channel, recent channel growth and I even hint at where I want to take the channel in the future!

This is me unscripted, and unscripted straight from the heart! Tou all have played such a vital role in how fast this channel has grown in only 2 years as a Rock channel!

So spread the word, share this video, and for goodness sake hit that thumbs-up button to get this video out to more home feeds!

Blessings to each and everyone of you!

-Michael-

PS: Please subscribe to Royce in the House! I often wind up as his co-host on his Sunday streams, and he is also a Patron to my channel. Most importantly, heโ€™s of The Tribe folks! Please support him as a companion channel to this one! Thanx

  1. I just joined your Patreon Page. For me, itโ€™s Led Zeppelin always and forever. That was the music from ages 8-20. Our Jr/Sr Prom theme was Stairway to Heaven. Love your YT channel and looking forward to Patreon. โค

  2. Close To The Edge is my favourite Yes album. When I first got into Rock I came across a compilation album called Supertracks. It introduced me to Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, Tull and Floyd. But one track stood out and it wasn't edited. It was And You And I and I went straight out and got the album.

  3. The growth of the channel is well deserved, Michael. It's no surprise that there are so many people who want to talk about classic music, rather than all the other processed crap out there !

  4. For me Micheal its The Beatles always. Yes was a gateway to many other big artists. Still hanging on to my overgrown vinyl collection. It takes up a lot of dang room but, i cant let go lol. I have all of the albums you mentioned. To quote The Rolling Stones " Its Only Rock and Roll but I like it". Great commentary as always brother โคโค. Congratulations on 34,000 subscribers.

  5. Wow, all of these artists I have great respect for. Spoiler alert: Iโ€™m going to share something about all or most of these albums. So if youโ€™d rather be surprised, donโ€™t read this yet!
I should take time to listen to Metallicaโ€™s Black Album.
Days Of Future Passed- great album which I would like to review
Beach Boys- theyโ€™ve gone from guilty pleasure to โ€œI donโ€™t care what you think. I love them!โ€
Yes- Close To The Edge I did review this one. Almost perfect if not completely perfect. Since youโ€™re a Desperado fan, I reviewed that one, too!
Also proud to be a tribe member! Love ya, Michael!

  6. Days of Future Past is excellent. The problem is that the Moody Blues never topped it, so I guess you could say that they peaked too early. The closest they ever came might have been The Present album or possibly Question of Balance.

  7. Hey Michael,
This is your first Patreon video of yours Iโ€™ve seen. Thanks for making it available to those of us whom are being economically strangled by big pharma! They have a knack of figuring out when I have a sliver of un-pledged funds they can squeeze out of me.
Many of those Moody Blues albums have that gloss in production you often mention.
Jumping topics as I ofttimes do, have you ever checked the Stones album thatโ€™s not a Stones album?
By this I mean โ€œJamming With Edwardsโ€? I donโ€™t recall whom it was credited to but if I have to guess, it may be considered a Nicky Hopkins record.
The cover alone is worth the price of entry!
When you check out the list of talent playing on it youโ€™ll see why
I call it a Stones album thatโ€™s not a Stones album.
Please keep the A1 content up. This is well thought out and very interesting and informative content you give us that few can approach the near-equal of!
    Peace my friend,

  8. I love the Beach Boys โ€œEndless Summer,โ€ probably because it was the main BB anthology released when I was a teenager.
Also, any straight male who denies learning to play guitar in order to impress girls is probably lying.
Congratulations on your success, Michael, glad to be along for the journey.

  9. Hey Michael, greetings from Liverpool, UK. Love your content. The Moodies and Yes are two bands that I often re-visit. Between them they have produced so many classic albums, if I had to pick one each it would be The Yes Album and To Our Children's, Children's Children.

  10. Nice gifted records from Royce.I have a copy of Chicago. I will be showing it on my channel soon. Saturday In the Park is a childhood favorite. I appreciate the effort you put into your videos. It has been a learning curve for me too. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  11. I agree Michael Chicago and Beach Boys greatest hits for the average fan is the way to go. For me having numerous Beach Boys albums they have had some great songs unknown to those who don't follow their music. Continued success and congrats on 34,000 subs.

  12. I saw The Moody Blues in my city in 1983. Amazingly, Stevie Ray Vaughan was their opening act on that tour. To this day, I'm embarrassed that I sat there and thought "ok get him on get him off, I'm here for Nights in White Satin." I knew who SRV was only because he was on MTV. I had no idea what a guitar god he was. To this day I'm filled with regret for not appreciating what a privilege seeing him perform was.

  16. Speaking of vinyl records, my formal introduction to Pink Floyd was a copy of The Wall that I found in the attic of my music building after getting bored and decided to nose around. We just happened to have one of those massive old record players and by the time The Trial was over I was hooked. Been my favorite band since. I was something like 12 or 13 at the time. I can't think of a better way for a kid to hear Floyd, unless it's live lol

  17. Hey, Michael. We're all here because we want to hear great stories and reviews about rock. That's the gist of it. We're here because of you, man. Thanks again, buddy for once again putting out great videos and for making another day of hearing great rock news greater..

  18. I was a Metallica fan before the "Black Album" came out. I WANTED to love it, but I just couldn't get into it. It didn't feel like Metallica. It was the album that the kids who HATED Metallica, all of a sudden became their "biggest fans".

  22. Every one of those albums, I eventually got signed by a majority of the people on them. Well, the moody blues album only Justin Hayward signed for me, but I got many members of The Beach Boys to sign the sounds of Summer album.
