  1. Finished the game today after 110 hours on level 160.
Went on reddit and the wiki to see that I still missed 3 entire areas with unique bosses, items and characters. I also missed about 90% of NPC questlines.
The scale of this game is absolutely astonishing.

  2. I took the stoneshard key as my gift and tried the fringefolk hero's grave and hated it so much that any time I found a hero's grave for the rest of the game I never even walked in

  3. Hard agree on the teleporter chests and gateways. The sheer surprise and mystery of where you end up and what alien landscapes spring up suddenly before you easily make for my favorite single moments so far.

  4. Went wretch and put most of my points into dex, then I found the paige's hood. Spent a lot of time running around bare chested looking like a medieval executioner / assassin, on a mission to slay the demi-gods and anything else that got in my way. Great fun. I just wish I understood more of the lore.

  5. My early experience was climbing the Divine Tower of Caelid and discovering the dungeon inside of it. That experience showed me that FromSoft really had upped their platforming level design massively because traversing the outside of the Divine Tower of Caelid is actually a real good jumping puzzle and it didn't feel janky like all the other jumping "puzzles" in previous Soulsborne games. Overall my experience has definitely continued. Elden Ring has a lot of platforming and almost all of it is actually good. Ledges and walkways in particular feel much less janky and in 80 hours of play I haven't yet slipped off of one like I have many times in previous games. Good job FromSoft. You successfully learned from Sekiro and made jumping puzzles a fun part of gameplay.

  6. I'm not very far yet, but my early game experience consists of: exploration, then find boss. Get absolutely stomped by boss, then more exploration and eventual defeat of said boss.

I love this game, it's everything I've wanted from a souls game and I can't wait to finish it 🙂

  7. I was hooked on these early finds also , but I’ve put 130 hours in and still have 4 main Demi gods left .. so many hidden areas that make this game so magical 🧙‍♂️hoping and praying 🙏 for an Elden ring 2 already what you think the chances of this are considered their success?
