The fire was reported at about 6:20 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Altadena Drive and Midwick Drive in the hills above Altadena, according to Cal Fire.
The Eaton Fire burning in the Angeles National Forest and LAโs San Gabriel Valley was one of the several fires that erupted in Los Angeles County as destructive Santa Ana winds continued to rip through Southern California.

I live in a apartment building in Pasadena..
last night the building alarm went off at 11pm ๐ for an
hour and a half , because ,
it was so saturated with smoke , the sensors thought it was on fire ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅโฆ !!!
Luckily it wasnโt & the water sprinklers didnโt go off!!! The fire department had to come here to shut it off๐ข
The building is in the middle of being renovated, & yesterday the 1/8 /2025 the workers were called off the job , & we were told they would be back to work on Mondayโฆ.!!!
Well , they were back on the job today.. 1/9 2025 What ???
