  1. The bugs at night is because of the light of the headlamp. Next time try a headlamp with red led or warm cct, like 2200-2700 kelvin. Red attracts basically none and warm light attract way less.

  2. Don't fret over camping on the land and disturbing wild animals. Humans have just as much right to be there and do our thing. Consider Canada as a example. A tiny percentage of the country is disturbed by humans and we leave the rest for wild animals and nature to run it's course. So please leave out the bleeding heart mumbo jumbo. >@^_*@<

  4. Hi Xander. I used to cross-train extensively and lift weights to build up a base and the use the cross-training to solidify my core. I see you are building up your body as your videos progress. I am suggesting that you add hammer curls as well as the bicep curls to your workouts to build up the big head and the little biceps heads and have a fuller more natural bicep bulge and use the farmers walk with high weights on dumb-bells to strengthen and build your forearms to make them look very impressive. The forearms will develop and accentuate very quickly and you will notice leaps in forearm strength/ hand crushing power. The biceps will require months but they will fill out right from the elbow and become very impressive and not t-shirt show off phony biceps that we see some people sporting. >@^_*@< Just suggestions but I hope to see you sporting some nice full biceps and crushing forearms in the future. ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. I started watching outdoor content about 2 years ago. I started, like most, with Luke from the Outdoor Boys youtube channel. That man truly has me as a permanent subscriber. I love his channel, his ethos and work ethic. Xander, Mav and some others appeared on my algorithm but none of them really took me like Xander. This guy is literally a genius. A raw, unfiltered view into frontier living. Xander, brother, I'd like to thank you for your work, your dedication to bushcraft, and your unwavering bravery in such dire situations that the majority of us would simply keel over and perish in.

God speed, brother Xander. What a wonderful experience you've taken us on.

    Thank you.
