Warhammer 40k is full of some pretty dark stuff. they dont call it the grim dark future for nothing. normally the darkest stuff is done by the tyranids, necrons, drukhari, the chaos space marines or their daemon allys. The imperium of man is just as (if not more in some cases) grim dark. in this series, we are gonna be looking aat some of the scariest stuff mankind has ever done.

  1. Another good one to look at is the First War of Armageddon

Where the Inquisition decides to take millions of loyal imperial citizens and guardsmen, sterilize them, ship them off world and have them all worked to death even though they heroically defended one of the most important industrial worlds in the imperium…then when the Space Wolves objected they fired on the Vylka Fenryka's ships and effectively tried to exterminate one of the First Founding chapters just for daring to stand up to them.

Honestly, you could replace all 5 of these grimdark instances with something that the Inquisition has done.

  2. In the Warhammer 40k universe, there is a canine-like species known as the Lupercal, named after the legendary Primarch of the Space Wolves, Leman Russ. The Lupercal is native to the planet of Mordia, a harsh and dangerous world on the outskirts of the Imperium.

Scientifically, the Lupercal is classified as a canid-like xenos species, with DNA that is similar to that of Terran dogs. However, the Lupercal is much larger and more ferocious than any known Terran dog breed. They have razor-sharp teeth and claws, and their powerful hind legs enable them to move quickly and with great agility.

The Lupercal are revered by the Mordian Guard, the planetary defense force of Mordia. They are used in battle as highly effective trackers and scouts, able to detect even the slightest hint of danger from miles away. The Mordian Guard has also trained some Lupercals for use in combat, equipping them with armor and weapons to make them even more deadly.

However, there is a dark side to the Lupercal as well. Some of these creatures have been corrupted by the Warp, turning into twisted versions of their former selves. The followers of the Chaos God Slaanesh have taken to worshiping these corrupted Lupercals, calling them the "Lupercalai" and using them as mounts in battle.

The Lupercalai are faster, stronger, and more vicious than their uncorrupted counterparts. They are often used in raids on Imperial worlds, causing havoc and destruction wherever they go. The followers of Slaanesh see them as the ultimate expression of excess and pleasure, and will stop at nothing to keep them under their control.

Despite their corrupted nature, the Lupercalai are still recognized by the Imperium as a threat. They are hunted by Imperial forces wherever they are found, and the Mordian Guard has made it their mission to eradicate them from their planet.

In the end, the Lupercal is a reminder that even the most loyal and faithful of creatures can be corrupted by the forces of chaos. Their presence in the Warhammer 40k universe is a warning to all who would stand against the Imperium, that even the most seemingly harmless of creatures can be turned into a deadly weapon in the hands of the enemy

What do u think of this creature

  3. Did they change the lore of Corpse Starch? Last I knew was it consisted of ground up Corpsefly maggots that are fed with the bodies the Corpse Guild gathers. Of course they sometimes would scip the whole maggot phase to churn out more starch faster but mostly it was those maggots.

  4. To be honest I don’t see psyker consumption by the astronomicom as that bad, like sure 1k every day but that’s (I’m guessing atleast) what a hiverworld looses in citizens every minute

  5. This is why we follow Slaanesh. Just love your life how you see fit. So people get killed and turned into drugs? Sure. Sometimes. But we don't lie about it. Or try to tell people it's for their own good. Pursue excess! Come live a life you want instead of back breaking toil only to be fed your neighbors.

  6. I have a Q, feel free to just say "thumbs up emoji" if it would take any significant explanation, but dont you say in another video that people arent "sacrificed" to the Throne? I remember (i believe) you saying elsewhere that its more like tens of thousands of psykers work on the throne and 1000 burn out every day

  7. it really does seem like the imperium is just continuing to make everything worse the same way the Aldari and necrons did. like producing that much pain and suffering can't be helping.

  8. I would like to see a Top 5 on the most hardcore World Eaters. Of course, Khan takes the first spot, but there are other cool World Eaters like Arrian Zorzi. This fucker can stave off the Butcher's nail. I love this legion and would like to see more of them. They are really a tragic legion.

  9. 1. Spacers, from the underbellies of large ships. They are mostly wild tribes. who refer to the crew as the messengers of the gods. Many even oblivious to the fact they are living on a ship, which they call simply 'the world'. Captains treat them not better than the rats.
    2. Penitent engines. Brains scrapped from the bodies and put into metallic carcas of the war walker, while body ,still connected to the brain, pumped with lifepreserving and pain amplification drugs and strapped to the front armor plate. Every scratch is tormenting, imagine a gunshot.
    3. Forge worlds. For the general population thre often even the demonic worlds is the beter option.
    4. Slavery. Everywhere, from the churches to the astartes chapters, from the hives to the spaceships.
    5. Chem troops. Created for war with very grim augmentations and, at best, abandoned after, if not outright slaughtered.
    6. Which leads to… Thunder Warriors. Same story. Created for the unification war and slaughtered after. By the Emperor himself.
    7. Assassination as the firing procedure for the high ranking officials and nobility. Planet lord fell from grace – go, meet your maker.

  11. How about 5 most grimdark things for each faction, I'm not talking about what they do that we would find grim dark but, something that makes them shudder in fear, I want to know what would scare an Eldar, Dark eldar, Necron, Tyranid, Tau and Ork shitless. Bunos points if it's something the imperium did.
