  1. May those who are beloved to me fall asleep easily tonight. May anything that has happened today that has been painful, cruel, or difficult be lifted from their mind and not weigh upon them. I kiss their wounds and pour love into them. I am so very sorry. My heart aches for them, and I long to protect them. As they lie down to sleep tonight, may they close their eyes and inhale deeply. May they focus on their lungs expanding with air. As they exhale slowly, may they lengthen their legs and wiggle their toes. May they rotate each ankle a few times. As they inhale again, may they picture something that makes them feel happy and calm. As they exhale, may they hold this image in their mind and think about how it smells, tastes, feels, and how it makes them feel. May they inhale again, and as they exhale, may they feel their body relax and tension and stress release. May they drop their shoulders and relax their jaw and place their palms flat against the mattress. As they feel my hand begin to move across their back, may they feel very peaceful and very safe. May they feel love and tenderness being massaged into them, and may this release all stress and pressure they are holding in their back and neck and shoulders. May their mind and thoughts be very calm. May they feel ready for a deep and nourishing sleep. May they feel my arms around them, holding them close. May they feel the warmth of the depths of my love that they alone fill. May they feel this wrapping around them and moving and flowing to them. May they know they are loved unconditionally and infinitely. They are not alone. May their dreams be very gentle and sweet tonight. May they be safe and protected in every way. I rest my hand against their precious face. I give thanks for them. May they sleep now. O, Lord, please hear the prayers of those beloved to me. O, Lord, please hear my prayers spoken and unspoken. O, Lord, please have mercy.
