  1. 8:46 it's actually because purple is the color of the royal, back in the day, you had to collect thousands of these tiny snails just to get 1 single cloak, this is also why not a flag in the world has the color purple in it, because it was just too hard to get purple paint back in the days

  2. People are not allowed to paint their houses purple because purple is a very rare colour in those days and purple dresses could be only worn by high ranks. Painting your house in purple offends the people of higher ranks.
