Eldar one is so dull and boring.
Feels like the first 6 months of 10th. Cue Crusty the Clown saying, "aaahhhh".
The Aeldari detachment really only has one use right now that I see. Super heavies all benefit from these rules as well. Cobras and Scorpions would love a redeployment and +1 to hit from the enhancements. Also tough enough that the tech priest farseer could actually have an impact healing. Don't think it makes them any sort of good, but maybe playable outside of the competitive scene.
I hope that codex will be more intresting for Aeldari.
The Codex is promising alot of changes that's worth bearing in mind, with the changes to Fire Dragons and rerolls this detachment could mean 26" melta threat range.
I like the flavor of the Drukhari detachment, but Im a bit disappointed they still wont allow you to use pain tokens on harlequin units, even if its just for this detachment
i have about 450ish points of harlequins and this is perfect for me
So, I'm thinking harlequin players will like the eldar one 🤔
Today was disappointing, Eldar detachment is just, boring. If it included mounted units I think it would be way better and more fun, but I bet there is a detachment focused on them in the codex. And the Dark eldar one just feels like an insult. "Oh you thought we were going to give YOUR army another detachment? Haha no, go buy 1000 points of Harlequins"
Im seeing lots of armies dishing out mortals with the new detachments. FNP. Will matter.
Would the Aeldari detatchment be better with Ynnari, Dark Lance re-rolls from ravagers could be strong

Hey, it could always be worse. At least they didn't get that rule that fliers used to have. Y'know, the one that made it so that -1s WEREN'T capped for fliers?
The redeploy is literally the only good thing in the aeldari detachment.
God everyone in this comment section reminds me why I avoid competitive warhammer fans like the plague. Bunch of whiny little pricks who don’t know how to have fun. Who the fuck cares if it’s worse than an op detachment??? Learn to have some damn fun for the love of all of the chaos gods! Especially you guys complaining about the DE detachment. Jesus Christ you guys actively sap the life out of everything you touch!
Battle Host rerolls are going in the codex this suggests.
The Aeldari one is an absolute stinker. Plain worse than Battle Host even for the niche it wants to play. The Drukhari one looks very interesting, but will likely be a REAL pain to get to work as intended. Best way to play that would pretty much seem to be to play 1 or 2 quins units which, if we can find that out on a glance, I have no idea what GW was thinking when they cooked it up.
Only thing this detachment gives me of value is deepstriking a wave serpent with Killy units and assault on voidweavers and starweavers
I like that the Aeldari detachment allows their flyers to appear anywhere on the board for the cost of 1CP. Really increases the value of flyers in an Aeldari list.
Finally, Harlequins are viable outside of ynnari.
