  1. I played 40k years ago in 5th edition. I quit cuz of life reasons but maintained my love for the lore and the game.

I watched this channel, auspex tactics and some lore channels until I couldnt take it anymore, and came back in 9th.

Also, I'm glad to see the war mistress is back again.

  2. Can someone explain to me why so many points where kept off the board for so long, ie the great unclean ones, I know the importance of deepstrike but it seems silly to me wasting that much potential damage to only place your model in your deployment zone anyway

  3. Maybe I’m wrong but isn’t that way too many points to start in reserve for Nurgle Snurgle? Honestly she probably would have benefited greatly from having Rotigus in particular out to buff her melee damage.

  4. I really appreciated this episode. A very methodical and well structured battleplan for both players executed well. Risk management was very well thought out and the movement very deliberate. If Nick and Tycho were Magic the Gathering decks they would be Red Deck Wins and Gruul Stompy respectively, but Tanya and Snurgle definitely seem to lean towards the Blue/Black Control. It provided a very welcome change of pace and alternative look on how to approach the battlefield, and both armies looked absolutely stunning while doing it. Here's hoping we see more gameplay from these ladies soon.

  5. I love the dichotomy of these two versus most of the guys I've seen XD Tanya and Snurgle: careful, chill, deliberate, very calm. The boys, especially with Mr Initiative involved: deploy on the line, smack talk, manic laughter, "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!!!!!"

Also holy crap these armies are pretty.

Edit: Don't know why I didn't see Tanya's WAAAAGH coming XD that was a hell of a match, good fight what a fun game.

  6. Im a simple git. I see orks, i give a thumbs up. Had to follow the link in the description to sub to Tanya, cuz those Ork models are so inspiring. Also, having failed those charges before, I know how it feels all too personally, ladies!

  7. PlayOnTabletop ladies and gentlemen: the only place you can hear someone immitating Stephen Box's voice and a few minutes later saying "SLAPADOODLE!".
Battle reports are always awsome, but I feel JT voice makes them even more fun to watch.
