  1. Speaking of towerdefense/bullet heavens, I think an interesting spin would be what Sanctum and Sanctum 2 did, but from a top down view(and obviously not as high graphics).
Each group of waves(let us say every 3 waves) have a short deployment time where you can set up your defense/rudimentary maze, and then the assault begin. You can both level up yourself(own weapons, abilities, auras) and your towers, giving you more variations on how you choose to defend. Do you focus on towers that control and debuff, while you hammer the enemy with your own weapon and abilities, or do you run interference and kite the enemy, while your artillery towers bombard the enemy?
    Stuff like that.

  2. Game looks solid, especially for a $4 price. My only complaints are the same as yours: Towers aren't the most interesting with the hologram look, and the singular song, however the song can be given because it as an absolute jam

  3. I would suggest if Wander was to watch Power Rangers series. Go looking for the individual "Best of episodes" that have happened over the years, aiming for highlights. And I agree, the differences between rangers was always a good highlight. Even for fans, there was a lot of ups and downs of it. There was an episode that highlighted how some rangers have depended a bit too much on weapons, and reminds them why they have martial arts as a major part of it, with a monster that was able to magnetize their weapons. There are some series that were written better than others at times.
Also, Rest in peace Jason David Frank. One of the most epic rangers among many generations.

  4. If you can find them, "Atop the 4th Wall" has done full retrospectives for several seasons of Power Rangers. A nice way to spend an hour or three.

The series is called "History of Power Rangers."
