  1. Brothers and sisters generally never learn to swim. This is a known fact, unfortunate that they were not taught at a young age. Teach your children to swim so as they grow up in life, they wont fear the water.

  2. I'm just confused. I understand that all were elderly, but the gangway goes down and 7 of those people pretty much drown instantly? One witness said that they heard it go down and turned around to see bodies floating…how is this possible? Not one of those seven splashed around for a minute, giving time for someone to put out their hand? Not one of the seven could swim…not even dog paddle? From the video, it's not as if people were thrown violently into the air…it was simply a collapse of maybe a 5 ft drop with one end still attached so basically they would have slid into the water. If a person can't swim, they have no business anywhere near water but I want to know how seven ended up instantly dead and that answer will never come.

  3. My first cousin's husband was the Chaplain that was killed. He was 77 but actively mobile and could swim. I just talked with him in August. Chaplain Dr. Charles L Houston will be greatly missed. I knew him since my teen aged years I am now 72 he was a great kind, loving person.. Charles I will miss you.
