  1. 13:36 slow down the original STARFIELD Direct corresponding to this sequence at the Abandoned Mine and you will see a serious bug. The Grendel fires at the second enemy whilst still being carried partially across your chest due to you being in Sprint. This means you can pause the video at a specific frame to see your yellow projectile emanating from the tip of your gun barrel at strange angle. I estimate that the Grendel is being held at a 21° angle from where it needs to be for it to be all in line with a hip fired shot to have the projectile be in line with the barrel it comes out of. Check for yourself. You will see that this is the case.

  2. It seems the legendaries work the same way as it does in Fallout 76. Every star next to it means it has a different legendary effect. The three star items are the best but there are also one and two stars, which adds a legendary effect for every star.

  3. Also want to point out that we see at least 4 “real world” firearms so far in game. The 1911 pistol you picked up on, the pump action shotgun, an AK pattern rifle and the Russian VSS Vintorez rifle.

  4. 31:10 Everyone talks about ‘AI voice’ for Vasco. There is a super economical easy solution that isn’t AI, and it has existed since the 1950s. You could hear it in 1980s arcade games, even. It’s called ‘speech synthesis.’ In the old days they used a synthesizer to create each phoneme of speech "ah, sh, fo, ra" etc. These days they use samples. Think Siri. Siri is not an AI voice, it’s a speech synthesizer. This is suuuper easy to implement, so it’s quite possible that Vasco uses speech synthesis, at least for saying the player’s name. I hope this is the case because i plan to name my character Marquis Wafflepate or Dunk McSnusnu.

  5. Extremely well made video. Didn’t lose interest throughout the whole video and it kept me entertained through my shift at work today. So excited for this game

  6. I PRAY that consumers are smart and wait a few weeks to buy the "Constellation" editions. The COVID toilet paper tyrants seem to have bought out all of em and are selling them for $450+ opening bids on eBay. Make the bastards lose their profits….

  7. Me: Going into Reddit and telling people about managing expectations and hype
Also Me: After watching dozens of Starfield related youtube videos and getting hyped, then watch a 4h30min video and becoming even more hyped.
Well done, a lot of work and notes must have gone into this video so appreciate the effort, learned a lot as well.

  8. i noticed that during the "abandoned mine" section, the whole fight in first person from 13:30 to 15:02 , you do not cast a shadow and it looks like you dont have a chest/legs in first person, just some floating arms. that is classic Bethesda style

  9. "Subbed to show support for the effort" I think the "change" in quality is a step to set visual expectations. After soo many years we all know that early footage is always from PC. But the later footage might be from some console footage based on the system requirements and expectations from that setup. It's possible if you are pushing a 4090 and a spec'd accordingly you might get close to the original 2021 footage shading. This is an AMD emphasized title so NVIDIA specific features might not be as available. I believe this is a good approach by Bethesda so to limit the comparisons online yet if you have the hardware maybe you can get a deeper darker experience. This is my hope. Cyberpunk Got hit by this hard since almost 99% of the footage was PC so for some confused reason people thought this was what to expect on console (and were disappointed).

To the ones saying why I think It's PC, its because Microsoft as a company if it was on Xbox there would be logo's EVERYWHERE saying that but in all the footage there are no mentions or showing of the color button prompts for ABXY.
