✅ About Anna Brees.
Anna Brees worked as a BBC and ITV journalist for ten years, and in 2017, was drawn to teaching others professional broadcast skills – rather than returning to the newsroom.
“I was offered a full-time job back at the BBC but turned it down. Now we have the technology and the platforms to broadcast, my new purpose in life was to mobilise many voices, not just a few.”
Anna began her training business in September 2017 and has since trained thousands of students, from corporate clients like Admiral, CIPR, the Professional Golf Association, and Public Health Wales to citizen journalists, whistle-blowers, and victims of child sexual abuse.
“My passion and focus is training rather than being the voice. I want to educate and inspire the new voices of the future.”
“This will lead to a more democratic and authentic media that feels like “us” where we stop getting angry watching the news and feel yes – that looks and sounds a bit more like me.”

I recorded this important interview a few weeks ago but decided to publish today after seeing an important article on the front page of the Telegraph today.
“Sir Whitty, Sir Valance… chief medical officers are you independent of Government ‘and Big Pharmaceutical investment’, we the public will start losing faith in you!”…
Brilliant
Excessive deaths = “Poor access to health care facilities”? 🤔
The healthy younger age groups did not need to seek NHS help with heart issues – pre covid era.
The excess deaths in younger age is Global. Can’t blame that on NHS funding!!
I get the impression that this doctor has not got a good understanding of the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA original trial data. Reanalysis of this data shows that the vaccines were associated with significant increased adverse events (Fraiman et al. Vaccine. 2022)
Please can you look into the gain of function research backed by US. Taxes in Wuhan versus wet fish markets lol.
Ridiculous
To be fair, although it wasn't necessarily a bad idea speaking to that Dr, where there have been so many red flags concerning the given medical pr0cedure particularly, it's beyond absurd how in denial he is, regarding the harms caused – and the fact, he doesn't want to entertain the possibility that ANY damage occurred via the above, is frankly laughable… Methinks, he doth protest far too much! Maybe next time (if there is another occasion), ask him why the (P)atrick (C)harlie (R)oger test was ever used, when according to its 'creator' (KM), it was NEVER an appropriate diagn0st1c tool in such circumstances – would be very interested to hear him attempt to 'explain away' that (along, with many other issues). At this point especially (in June 2024), it shouldn't be difficult to join the dots concerning what has really been happening around the world since early 2020.
Bmj paper blows that idiot out of the water
What a bullshitter. If what he is saying is correct the people who are vocal in opposition to him would be allowed to speak not be gagged.. I think he showed himself up for what he is, he is either stupid or paid.
Medical experts did speak to the Medical Colleges and Universities when concerns were raised, these people were gaslighted and some even threatened, sorry Anna but there are too many conflicts of interest within the system to voice any problems with regards to a major distributed product of this kind. There should be accountability for spinning the term "safe and effective" when that was never the case.
His asssumptions arent based on the reality im afraid.
were you warned off or bought anna?
We got the stand in the park people who parade yellow boards at a large roundabout in Basingstoke with slogans, trying to inform /educate /wake up the masses.. they were labelled and vilified by local media as 'anti vaxxers' 'covidiots' very racist and discriminating.bTurns out the idiots were right. I think you should come and interview them for your channel.. And embarrass the criminals in main stream media.
Terrific interview, Anna! How does Dr. Bharat explain the number of athletes and footballers collapsing on playing fields though? We saw a spate of sportsmen falling to the ground holding their chests, and these incidents were happening after the jabs were rolled out! So, there must be a correlation here. Dr. Bharat needs to look at all the facts.
the guinea pigs were played, the buyer remorse is endemic, the doubling down is embarrassing. now they ARE ‘the research’ …. for life. whoooops ! S.A.D.S. but true.
Why doesn’t he respect his fellow doctors and scientists, Dr.Sucharit Bhakdi, Dr Mike Yeadon, those doctors forming The Great Barrington Declaration, Andrew Bridgen, and many others, has he listened to them, their research, their experience, their humanity, integrity, compassion and empathy, all of which present us with the undeniable evidence …
The Dr said, "when the pandemic struck, we knew VERY LITTLE", but was that really true? I ask particularly, because if that were actually the case, why were the powers that be, so early on, HELLBENT on pushing the need to create a vax? Surely, if at all, it should've been a 'wait and see' approach, but no, pretty much from the start, it was all about, "we must create a vax" (whilst banning the use of established other forms of treatment). How is that NOT suspicious?
C’mon Anna create that journalism challenge the narrative- 💪🏼
I agree that we need to listen to more than one stream of content and opinion and this has been a valuable exercise. However none of my fears about excess deaths have been calmed, some of the comments below are informative – as an example, nothing in the interview explains the injuries and deaths in the younger age groups.
What about the money made: government working with big corporations: fascism and that PPE was a scam making millions for thier mates..loads of. Scandals Government centred scandals‼️
Saying there there doesn’t bring people to account. Justice must be seen or it is not justice!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💯
She talks to much, let the man speak ffs
I celebrate that we're a sentient species that are so well endowed with complex minds that wewill make divergent conclusions on pretty much anything. For as long as we can have the civility to accept the fact that that the more you push what makes you feel settled on the determinations that differ in the heads of another, then in all likeliness, for sufficient in number to really count, we'll all be a healthier democracy for it.
At the time of the lockdowns I was in an essential industry and we had engineers visiting clients in major conurbations. Throughout the lockdown the parks and fenced ball game areas were absolutely full of young adults mixing and doing whatever they wanted. Newcastle being one example that comes to mind. But, it was the same risk as those who were behind acrylic shields in shops or for whom had to go into work as journalists or into Whitehall. Especially if their organisations weren't entitled to 'furlough' such as with the BBC.
Our ability to fraction, to have various branch tendencies with still further varying tributaries and leafs is what has made us able to populate the planet into the coldest darkest reaches or the more arid land of scorched earth. And in how we can exist and tolerate being in a turbulent democracy or a vindictive autocracy. We adapt, adjust, throw our hands up or grumble in our boots.
I value Doctor Pankhania's life-experience and trained expertise.
I do amuse myself with how people baseline their moment of inoculation and then assume that the days preceding and months succeeding somehow entered a virtual-laboratory environment where the only influencing factor was the jab.
I had the bivalent AZ modified monkey course of jabs and then Moderna mRNA jabs. Had I had a crappy immune system then either being naturally infected or the vaccine may have given me some other impact. Be it a blood clot (partly why AZ was removed but mostly it was removed because it wasn't updated for variants), tendency to struggle with being infected by something else alongside the response to the dosing for mounting a conferred response to the inoculation, or a plain old non-previously diagnosed allergy to the carrier material.
Those in my family who are in the risk categories have continued to have the mRNA jabs beyond the larger population. If invited, they'd no-doubt continue to do so.
I've not had the jab for years now and I might not bother again but only because needles alone give me a bit of backpressure in my decision making process. Though, am a lot better after needing three injections in my eyeball about three years ago. That process largely makes me handle an intramuscular injection with ease!
Fundamentally, Anna: where your questioning around the first arrival of the virus here (where the virologists were working out the pathology, human cell interactions and onward communication vectors), that phase seems entirely logical to reduce human interaction. Be this like in the old Westerns where the jailhouse gets visited by the doctor to look at the person in the cells and then decrees that the doctor, the patient and the sheriff will all have to remain isolated from the rest of the town until they've got better or the last ill one has died (plus some time). Or be it like we had with minimising most interactions. But there is another type, like the "Black Death" / "Bubonic Plague" or with artificial Anthrax situations, where even the harshest of full quarantine measures would only just cut it.
For these, I wonder if we do improve messaging with updates on how any natural infection is killing people, the mechanisms that bring this about (which organs or biological highways, and if it is via droplets, blood, shed skin etc). Also, I wonder if those who interpret these events as social engineering, governments going power mad or big pharma trying to quadruple their sales achievement, as to whether they should be allowed to gather into communes of like minded people and get on with it. If they all succumb or later choose to have a change of heart then perhaps that is entirely their right. As long as they don't do what is effectively impacting other people's human rights or making great transgressions of the state's special powers that are sought to cover these times and largely protect the public health teams from being subject to longer term litigation. Ultimately, heavy litigation of govt and health professional public workers prevents them operating in our best interests for the next crisis.
Life sciences, good or bad? Well, I'm declaring that I see them as for the good. But I wouldn't dare try to alter someone's mind if they thought differently to me on that. I guess it is government's job to run an assay over society to quantify how many people are against the public health messaging and revise their position if the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one. (I knew I could get a Star Trek element into the conversation).
Over Dr P's words on journalism and politics being open and mature enough to ask questions and be assured of context-aligned answers, I liked that too. Indeed, when Parliament says it is having a debate; well, that differs greatly to the debate you were talking about proponents and opponents to vaccines and lockdowns (esp. for all age groups in the former and latter). One thing that govt doesn't seem to have time for is a to/fro rallying debate on anything. Just summary utterances into the Speaker's chair! But, let's perhaps not try to solve that bonkersness all in the one 'comments' !
I don't think you asked my question, but you know what…. : I am glad as the air of solemnity in the interaction between you two over the topics covered was far more welcomingly received than some smart question I had that I might have used as a stick to bash people with who prefer to distrust well before considering the risks of abstinence. I think my question was about the continued serology assessments as to whether the long term immune 'library' in healthy typical UK citizens (of any heritage) were showing signs that Covid would continue to be a killer (of those encumbered with comorbidities) but within so many months or years would largely raise no more than an eyebrow outside of a clinical setting (where the likes norovirus or Covid19 would trigger certain infection controls).
I've said all this but I do understand why people get anxious, vocal, animated and paranoid by all these invisible things. Though, my Dad (who died during Covid but not from Covid) always said that his main credo in life was to worry about the things you can do something about but to worry less about those you can't. In that, I overlay the situations where you can do something about them but it is on a subject matter that you don't really or entirely understand. So, I largely hand myself over to the medical trade when something to do with my outer casing needs a little helping hand. A bit like asking someone to scratch that itch that you don't have enough elbow joints in the one limb to sort yourself..!
Great interview, I've been looking forward to you having completed it and issuing it out for us, your audience. Wonderful work, yet again.
Anna… you have gone SOFT… who got to you … was it WHO?
