  1. It's awesome that you show people a cheaper alternative when it comes to this hobby! I'm not someone who has started painting yet but I want to one day and I'm very excited for the future of 3d printing!

    Merry Christmas bro!

  2. They can chug out one ban wave after another, but we are many, we are LEGION! We are everywhere, our storage spaces unending! But lowkey, hop on the discord guys. Came for the links, stayed for the people.

  3. FDM Terrain yes please! Printing GW Terrain boxes Like the Nachmund Crane for Kill Team. That seemed to be some limited Fomo BS.

The Dark Eldar models aren't bad and the Templars look really good.

But whats with those Hazard Stripes on a Templar Impulsor? Probably a Gift from the Iron Hands i suppose.

  4. The print lines on the front of the Impulsor aren't to do with suction, that's caused by the angle of the face and the resolution of your screen.

There's no real easy way to fix this without similar printing artefacts on other flat faces. Often you'll either need to rotate parts to a specific angle based on the layer height and pixel width; or print at a layer height that matches the width.

Open Paint, zoom in real close and draw a line not quite horizontal, you'll see the same effect as on the Impulsor.

  5. As a guy who printed eve Warlord Titan..
1 – Pre-supported models in 90% are not tested by creators and that leads us to failed prints. (As example – i have anycubic mono 6k and plate soaking power so high that not well supported minies are ripping of from supports during print)
2 – 90% of ppl are lazy and dont wanna teach how to put their own supports and that leads us to "fake" illusions that 3d printing is so eazy but when they coming into it, they getting disappointed.
3 – A lot of STLs are shit. Totally. Coz not being tested by creators.
4 – And use hot water for easiest way to take minies from support after print. It will save your minies from cracking.

  7. I am fond of your channel and videos. I really liked the format of this video although I am not a big fan oof 40k. I prefer space crusade. Food for thought and possibly future videos/ projects. Make starter sets for wargaming fantasy and age of sigmar. Afterwards, you can recreate warhammer quest, hero quest and space crusade sets. Merry Christmas and happy new year BROTHER.

  8. I thought about fdm printing for terrain but since I'm working in 15mm scale I've found resin to be the best choice and still reasonably affordable. I can print 2x 10 man rifle squads scaled down to 15mm and a semi detached single story medieval house for about $6-8. Of the 5 bottles of resin I bought at around $50 I'm only 1/4 through the second one and have already printed 5x light tanks, 6x 10 man infantry squads, 8x vans/trucks as transports and a command squad with a extra Lt costing a total of ~$15

  9. great video, but i personally disagree with the premise of being the "ultimate starter set". its all entirely subjective, for example if you loved tyranids and tau you would print that instead and that would be the ultimate set. additionally, it doesnt come with the rulebook, which i would probably find really helpful to someone getting into the hobby as it has all the rules in one place and a lot of flavour text along with it which is amazing for setting the scene for a universe that in a beginners case they probably wouldnt have had a lot of experience with.

  10. I don’t agree with people 3d printing actual GW models. Especially the current models. Discontinued models that are no longer in use I could accept. I would not play with another if their models were 3d printed when I’ve spent hard earned cash to build a legit army. Each to there own I suppose
