  1. As Winston Churchill also said, “Hence, we will not say that Greeks fight like heroes, but that heroes fight like Greeks.” Adolf Hitler said: “The Greek soldier, above all, fought with the most courage.”

    Have you heard that?

  2. Hmm great video if that's what it's called these days but the numbers, especially the 300 are referring to the battle of Thermopylae, or the hot gates as it's known, this meant the Spartans could not be flanked, and only fought 20 or so abreast, which meant the opposing numbers were inconsequential! it wasn't until the "Goat path" was revealed that the Persians had any chance, as far as history tells it! by the way I can attest to a lot of this, as I know it is not possible to get punched in the face by more than 3 people at a time, don't ask how or why I know this! but multiple assailants in the right environment are just a test of stamina.

  3. Totally wrong geographical setup of a historical event. The 300 Spartans were in a narrow pass that the Persians had no choice but to go through. Because it was so narrow, the Persians could only attack in narrow formations as well, evening the playground for the mere 300 Spartans.

  5. the only thing I don't like about battle simulator is that it is unrealistic…. when an army reaches a 30% casualty rate they tend to retreat and fall apart.. Mostly because that's the threshold.. armies rarely fought to the last man including Spartans. despite the legend saying they did in fact do that, no they didn't only in a few times they did, most times they would order a tactical retreat when things got too hairy. they only fought to the last man if there was a strategic advantage in doing so. they were a military society so of course they had a mind for strategy and tactics.

  6. Persians be like : they are too powerful let us make a bridge on the water by sacrificing a lot of us so we can surround the Spartans , let’s hope we do not drown by falling into the water . 😂😂😂😂😂😂

  7. Isn’t this Thermopylae the movie where 300 Spartans against 300,000 Persians soldiers they tried so much but the Persians kept on losing and not even 1 of the Spartans we’re not even wounded or killed

  8. Spartans only did so well because they had an easily defended position. It took time, but after attrition and being surrounded they fell. Doesn't mean that they weren't double tough, but the Phalanx was only designed for frontal attacks. Had the Persians caught them on an open plain with their numbers, the Spartans would have gone down quickly despite their superior strength and skill.
