30-year-old Calgary man charged in devastating car pileup that killed 9-year-old girl



A Calgary family is dealing with overwhelming grief after the death of their 9-year-old daughter in a multi-vehicle crash on Boxing Day.

On Friday, authorities arrested and charged 30-year-old Duane Arlen John Nepoose in connection with the collision.

The grieving family’s other daughter, who is 12 years old, remains in hospital. Global’s Elissa Carpenter shows us how loved ones are coming together to support the family.

  3. Albertas dirty secret 🤫 all the cities have gone to trash. Danielle smith does nothing. Every day driving to work people are braking the law. By that logic I should see someone stopped by the police everyday 🙄

  4. What we all want to know is why the Calgary police didn't release an emergency alert to warn the city?
    How does it take the police a half a day to warn the city of a man yielding a gun on the loose?
    Time for a new system cuz these police obviously don't have a clue about what they're doing.
