D Tier: Spelunky 2 can get unlucky and just die
S Tier: Slay the Spire a game that you can get unlucky and loose.
I would argue that less than 5% of my deaths in Spelunky 2 were unavoidable.

Rogue Legacy 2 A Tier? probably E for me
Completely agree about Binding of Isaac. I can't stand the poop/blood/edgy aesthetic and it ruins the game for me. Vastly prefer something like Hades where it has a lot more effort put into its look.
I loved Hades and Inscryption, so I immediately bought Gunfire Reborn and UnderMine based on this video. (Already had Slay the Spire; just haven't played it yet, lol)
have the same top 2, risk of rain 2 is a bit higher for me. Lots of games for me to still try
S tier is obviously Hades, D tier for me is gunfire reborn. I love FPS roguelites (Roboquest!) but GFR did not do it for me.

I would put Nuclear throne at the top of the list, I love the infinite looping and the fast paced gameplay
wow children of morta completly different for me i had like problems in the first 2/3 times after that i mostley got it ( given though the first one might have 2/3 more attempts) but the game was so short i would not place it in a A-rank but gameplay and story telling wise deserve's a b imo and maybe its cause weplayed a different patch i heard they added a free mode or something but yeah its a b game unless its nostalgia i prob dont chech out the update
