Russia’s Thunder exercise coincides with NATO’s Steadfast Noon nuclear exercise, which takes place from 17 to 30 October in northwest Europe with 14 nations participating.
The last time Russia conducted a nuclear exercise was in February before a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
