I rember one time in last November when I went hiking and I want to go down so badly because I was getting tried and my leg were hurting I was hurngry it took 1 hour ot get up there and then when I come down it was fast idk why

I get to be annoyed af when most of these characters say "I was paralysed or frozen by fear", wtf thou. is that a thing? I feel like fear in most of these stories should make u either run, kick and punch, or at least scream. how the hell do u just freeze in danger?
I've jumped over the tallest wall being chased by geese as a kid, a wall I couldn't have possibly jumper over at my height. lol one of many stories for an example. where adrenaline kicks in immediately, then your body and mind just know what to do, even advanced to protect u.
