  1. For the record on Grimwild, it does have a free version as well (which has everything but the Extras chapter, so the thieves' cant for instance is not there except for a more basic version in the Rogue path section) – totally worth checking out too!

  2. I love the thieves' cant thing. I've assembled something similar, taking stuff from old Hobo Code symbol guides, as well as a book called Flash Lingo, where a guy made a thieves' cant based off Cockney and another similar code language. I was hoping to make it a part of a DCC game I had planned to get off the ground last year, but we didn't get past the first session.
    I got a Free RPG Day book for Shadows of Estren, but I haven't checked it out yet. One of these days…
