  1. I’m still in the boat of “I’d rather have this than nothing at all”. Tier 0 sucks but if enough people do this, it’ll help trash cleanup and maybe servers will last longer before a 30k

  2. Not only it is a new beam for munching, the main issue is that there is no gameplay at all ! Just push a few buttons without even aiming issues. I know finding the good keybind in SC is a mess, but this is not a gameplay. After the power level management of mining, the car washing of salvage, munching is just button pushing.

  3. Hmm another beam mechanic…I guess we're one step closer to the fabled food beam mechanic they mentioned in a video a while back. 😛At least people will be able to clean up all the ship garbage from the persistent trash mechanic…..if they don't mind getting crime stats. 🥸

  4. I agree with your opinion that the animation (especially the disintegration) looks cheap like from a mobile game. The salvage turns into "stardust". It's magical.

  5. tbh those t0 effects and animations are cool. sure there is no skill gameplay yet but i´d give it a pass this time.

    i like the idea of testing early tier0. in fact this should be the definition of t0 for now, then t1 would be bad but with gameplay in mind and somewhat stable OR fun 😇

    i feel cig REALLY wants to give us more option so i guess kudos for that
