  14. There's so much history behind this track. Almost all his lines are related to real events that occurred during or after his shooting. I would highly, highly recommend a documentary on the "hip hop universe" channel titled "Why 2pac got shot 5 times". It's very long (around 2 hours), but very detailed and gives a very deep perspective into all of this. This track also becomes much more clear and better IMO. I mean, the first line is referencing the shooters, which the documentary clearly shows. Love this track!

The part were Makaveli says you old rappers trying to advance it’s all over now trying to playa hate on my shit ,looking like Larry Holmes all flabby and sick, that was another diss at LL and a diss at krs 1 , krs 1 said sided with big and had said he had a diss song for pac, krs 1’s labor white washed the song because they didn’t want to get involved in the drama. Makaveli /2pac removed LL’s name out of respect for Quincy Jones after QJ asked pac back on all eyes on me to not respond to LL’s diss called I shot you/who shot you and comments about Pac/Makaveli. LLwas jealous of pac and QJ daughter relationship and she wouldn’t get back with LL after she began dating pac and LL had went back to his wife so she wouldn’t divorce him and take his money after his wife gave him a ultimatum to leave Jones’s daughter alone or else plus his use of cocain . As for cream puff , Makaveli says puffy you and I know what’s going on ,puffy getting robbed like a BITCH TO HIDE THAT FACT he did some shit he shouldn’t have did so we riding for that-( puffy was being extorted by jimmy henchmen and the drug lord that was locked up that jimmy had went to see about puff and get him to make puff help set up pac to be robbed at Quad studios since pac refused to sign with jimmy after jimmy tried to buy pac with gifts to sign with him and he said thank but no I’m good and puff had stopped making payments on his debt to the drug king pin since he was locked up and puff was called by that same drug lord/king pin and told if he helps jimmy out with his situation then his delinquent debt with him would be forgiven and the drug lord would keep his mouth shut to the feds about his money being used to help start Bad Boy.)

  28. i got a bad habit of commenting as i go lmao. but a few days before Pac was shot in Vegas… the night of the MTV video music awards – And Pac and Nas squashed their beef after meeting and Pac was going to remove all the Nas lines in this song but he died before he got the chance to. you probably know this by now Hec but just in case lmao
