26:55 Terminus Speedrun

(Note, I wrote this desc. before getting a sub 27. I wanted a sub 26, but I haven’t had a playable game in like 2 days. This finally was one, but I threw boss so I am uploading it anyways. Hopefully sub 26 soon!)

Hello all! Been a while since I uploaded. I have been grinding nebula almost non-stop since the Terminus Egg Hunt happened. Since I’ve acquired nebula on most of the guns I want as of right now, I have decided to start doing some runs.

As you can see, I am not using Rampage Inducer. I am sure some people might be asking “Why aren’t you using it? Isn’t it faster?”. Yes it is faster. However I, along with a few other players, believe that the use of Rampage Inducer drastically changes the run in such a way that eliminates certain challenges or struggles a runner might experience while not using Rampage Inducer. This is not to say that Rampage Inducer is not challenging in it’s own regard, it is simply to say that the use of Rampage Inducer creates a drastic difference in the run. Unfortunately, the majority of the current zombies speedrunning community does not agree with this argument. That is entirely valid, nothing wrong with differing ideas. However because of this disagreement in thinking that Rampage Inducer should be separated on major boards, I do not intend on submitting to most boards for the time being, but that may change going forward. For this reason, I do not intend on “claiming” records or titling my runs with [WR], as to avoid any controversy that I am attempting to undermine the current WR holders.

I know that there are some runners out there who will see this and say “made up” (which is hilarious in the right context, i.e. Buried Solo), or say that “I am not good enough to run Rampage, or perhaps claim that I am simply stupid. Thankfully I am an adult and I understand that none of these claims hold any meaning to me. My goals with speedrunning solely revolve around having fun and putting my accomplishments first. If I am not allowed to be proud of my own runs, that’s when I stop having fun.

I hope that anyone that has made it to this point has refrained from reaching for their tinfoil hat and has also avoided
scrolling straight to the comment section. I mean for this to be nothing more than an opportunity for me to share MY opinions, on MY channel, in an educated and thoughtful manner. Thank you.
