  2. The problem with the video is that they cut the rhymes of most of the people in the video. To get the real effect of that video u have to listen to the full song. Big Daddy Kane has a line in it that was excluded from the video! It says, "…my trigger, u figure, my pockets getting bigger, and when it comes to money yo Grants my nigga!" Been carrying $50 bills every since!

  4. That G rap line about putting out lights is crazy, BTW Con Edison is the electric company in NYC, so the metaphor works! And another thing, if you like G Rap, this is the video version, his verse is much shorter. If you find the record version of the Symphony on youtube, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. G Raps verse is nearly twice as long and goes ten times harder. Here’s a sample “So fear me, don't dare dare me/
And don't compare me to him when you hear me/
Talk about a battle, but you ain't yet ready for war
Your metaphor sucks more than a whore!
You can't replace me, ice me or ace me Bass me, face me, slice me or race me Bite me or taste me — I'll show you that I got force
My rap burns your mouth like hot sauce”

  5. There's a story I heard about this track that G Rap actually rhymed so much in one take the tape ran out. So even the long version of his verse is a cut down shorter version, that was cut down even more for this version

  7. I am almost 50 years old and I am enjoying watching you watch all the hits from the past. Refreshing to see someone young willing to give the old stuff a chance. Also glad to see you start from nothing and build up to what is hopefully a successful content creator. Happy holidays fam.
