25 Hours With Samsung's Galaxy S25! | Unboxing, Camera, Gaming & Features

Unboxing the Samsung Galaxy S25, with an early review of the camera tech, gaming performance, OneUI 7 features and other bits. That hardware is mostly unchanged vs the S24, but the Samsung Galaxy S25 does boast Snapdragon 8 Elite smarts. So those obligatory AI tools and games run with a stunning smoothness.

It’s too early to pass a verdict on this mini flagship’s battery life or everyday experience, but here’s an idea of what to expect from this compact OneUI 7 smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy S25 is certainly a beast with that 8 Elite, smashing through games like Wuthering Waves, no stress. Plus that gaming mode has FINALLY been updated!

The battery tech is unchanged, as is the camera hardware sadly. So while the Samsung Galaxy S25 can capture great looking pics most times of the day, the ultra-wide and zoom sensors struggle at night time. Same goes for that selfie shooter, especially when recording video.

Of course, the Samsung S25 is all about AI, as usual. Some but not all of these new features will be coming to the S24, as most of them run on the phone using that 8 Elite’s NPU. However, is that enough of a reason to upgrade?

Stay tuned for an in-depth review of the Samsung Galaxy S25 and that Ultra model!

  1. Thanks for watching my one day with S25 video type shenanigans. Hoping to review it properly soon but here's an early update on the gaming, camera performance, etc. Have a lovely day, I'm off to shoot video all night long with the S25 Ultra! xx

  2. For me the upgrade from the Note 10+ to the S24 Ultra two months ago was a fantastic experience and got to keep the square corners. The 435 dollar saving on a Black Friday type sale from Samsung also was sweet.

  3. I have the base model s23 8gb/256gb that i got for $200(dont ask me how), the offer right now at my place is $300 with trade in for the 12gb/512gb s25 base variant with free watch7. Thats good value for money right?

  4. This phone only has 2 weaknesses.

    1. 128gb

    2. Most vulnerable to heat build up after prolonged gaming/ demanding task.

Otherwise, it's basically the most powerful entry-level S series galaxy phone to date. The shift to 12gb of ram tells me the base S24 is totally screwed when it comes to the next 7 years of updates, while the S24+/U will be fine at least until we start seeing 16gb phones (which im hoping the S25edge isn't)
