  1. Love how Joel is acting like he’s been backing the Pelicans all season and hadn’t given up on them after like 5-10 games. Drew the real Goat cause he’s the only one that knew they’d be tough even after a slow-ish start. In general love seeing the Pelicans prove everyone wrong. They’ve even gone above my own expectations, I feel like I’m in a dream

  2. For them to be on the pelicans like this so early is laughable if they meet the warriors the way the warriors adapt in the playoffs like are you serious it's going to hurt them when they don't show up

  3. joel has to be the definition of flip a side😭 This man just argued with everyone that with KD playing with how he is there’s a chance. Then they ask if the Nets are contenders and he says no 😂 But then continues to argue that they have a chance if everything happens correctly for them…. is that not the case for any NBA team? Like whats the point of that whole argument saying KD can give them a chance? A chance at what?😂 You just said they at best are the #3 in the East . So if they aren’t number one, you said they aren’t contenders what exactly are you arguing to say bro 😭😭😭 He be flipping every conversation so he can go back later and be like see i told you so 😂

  4. 1:44:30 sorry man but I've been a Suns fan since the 90's and even I know this team ain't going anywhere. The thing that hurts most about watching this season is knowing now more than ever how much of a perfect fit Luka would have been for the Suns and frankly vice versa. 55th season for this franchise and we're a 1st/2nd round exit at best. And yes I agree with y'all that the Suns bitching about that dunk is so WEAK. The biggest thing I'm thrilled about going forward is the new ownership coming in. All of these Suns fans shouting for Booker to be MVP are fooling themselves. I thank Chris Paul for everything he did for the franchise too but he's washed. What CP3 did during 2021 and 2022 were beyond impressive especially at his age but the second he turned 37 something changed 🤣

  5. I’m glad I’m not the only one that feels that way about Lavine. People act like the Heat can’t get him he’s not worth much just a bunch of picks at this point and a young player for the swap. Heat & Knicks would be better with him I wanna see him on the Heat, Bulls need to punt on this season let Lonzo get 100% and choose between Lavine & Demar to ship out with Vuc

  6. I’m a big fan of the pod but respectfully, No the Giannis-AD “convos” will not “be open again”. Giannis been averaging at least 27/10/5 for the last 5 years, he’s one of if not the only player ever to average that stat line for 4 years let alone 5 (mind you, from the 2019-2020 season till now he’s been even better than 27/10/5, that’s just what he averaged his first mvp year). Not to mention he’s one of if not the only player to be unanimously first team all nba for 4 years in a row (and it’s abt to be 5 years in a row) and he’s one of the only players ever to be first team all nba while also being first team all defense for 3+ years in a row. Also I’m takin the guy whose better at getting to his own spots and getting his own buckets while still being dominant as a big man (Giannis) over the guy who is most dominant while being fed the ball by a distributor (AD). Giannis has been better than AD since the 2018-2019 season, sure AD performed better in the bubble but he had Lebron fucking James feeding him the ball whose arguably the best playmaker and player of all time. only delusional ass lakers fans was sayin he’s better than Giannis sorry. Whether I want a floor raiser or a ceiling raiser I want Giannis especially if I want a floor raiser. It is what it is

  7. I like the pod but there are a few takes I’d disagree with. One is AD, I don’t understand this love affair with Anthony Davis, his last two years have been average at best when available. He’s played well the past few weeks, but how good or impactful can he be when his team is multiple games below .500 and in 13th place last time I looked? Doesn’t make sense
