Microsoft and Xbox absolutely knocked it out of the park with their most recent showcase. The showcase was packed with surprising reveals and major updates to some of the biggest games coming out in the next year or so.
Let’s check out the biggest announcements from this year’s Xbox Showcase.

God, that Fable woman's poor face.. what have they done to her?!?
I'm so excited for Dragon Age Veilguard. I can't believe it's been 10 years since Inquisition. There's a note you can find in the Hinterlands in Inquisition that talks about how it's been 10 years since the blight, children don't know what a Darkspawn is… and now IRL, it's been 10 years since Inquisition 😭
That show was fire.
Welp let me go back to the wall bouncing lab downloads GOW after years
Metal Gear Solid and Assassin's Creed got me sold already 🎉🎉
Go be a snowflake elsewhere we like female characters ypu aint welcome here
My god people love to complain. If you can’t find any game you enjoy in 2024 then you should probably find a new hobby.
These games are gonna launch, half the game are gonna do well, then Microsoft is gonna shut down half the studios regardless of whether they did well or not
There’s no way Warcraft is on consoles lol
This was LEAGUES better than the PS5 showcase (exception of the amazing Astro Bot), coming from someone who's had every PS and Nintendo console and the original Xbox. PS showcases have been so disappointing. I couldn't care any less about live service games.
I remember when random games like Ape Escape, Croc, Spyro, Dino Crisis, Bugs Bunny Lost in Time, Nightfire, Halo, Rayman, Metal Gear, MediEvil, Syphon Filter, Splinter Cell, Toy Story 2, Crash Team Racing, Infamous, so many were pouring out that were NEW, fun, doing something different and imaginative, just great creative experiences that wanted to give you a joyful time, smile, laugh, surprised, engrossed, amazed. That's of course excluding Nintendo games that almost always knock it out the park.
Xbox is stepping up. Competition is good. Hope we get more innovative, imaginative experiences again now. While we're here, can we innovate controllers too? How are we still using sticks to aim after decades?
Gears and fable yes everything else a big NOPE
Maybe 3 of these games will actually come out in a reasonable amount of time. A chunk of them will fade into obscurity or development hell.
Game trailers don't mean shit nowadays.
The four main games I'm excited about are Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Gears of War E-day, Atomfall and Wuchang Fallen Feathers. Those are the games that caught my eye the most and that I'm interested in, not saying the rest of the games are bad at all. But those 4 games I'm really looking forward to playing, I'm going to have a lot to play!
Game trailers are glorified teasers. Games take years to come out nowadays. It's bullshit. Some of these "trailers" don't even have release dates. You'll probably forget these trailers even exist by the time the game is actually released…and that's IF it releases.
Hold on…for FABLE, do i have to play as the tranny in this video showcase ? Can I make my own character ? And Flintlock: Siege of Dawn is a PS4 and Xbox One game ? Wow. So it's a last gen game. Lovely. And in 2025, AtomFall be also be a PS4 and Xbox One game. At this point, just keep supporting these consoles until 2027, then do a hard reset with the next gen consoles. Call this generation the experimental generation to learn all the new tools and keep supporting 50% of the people who haven't upgraded. Then start fresh in 2027.
so tired of being forced to play a strong independent woman.
Black ops 6 base game version is 79.99€
Enouuuugh Soulslikes. Good fucking god. Can we do like 3 per year instead of 30?
Xbox was both the worst and the best in a span of like 2 months 😂
New Objective : stay alive until september..
Why do so many Microsoft games have to be ruined by filling them with ugly people and minorities? I really hate what gaming has turned into over the last 10-15 years.
Why does this sound like a guy reading a script written by ai
It was a pretty good showcase a lot of good games but the question is where is fallout 3 remaster
If they don’t let us customize our fable character they’ve missed the point
Red dead 3 needed asap, fed up of killing zombies
This Xbox showcase was better than ones and years past, but I still can't reconcile how Machine Games is going to successfully convert the Indiana Jones franchise into a first person experience? That feels like a very questionable decision in my opinion due to how iconic that the main character of the series is. I have to admit, I was extremely disappointed when I saw that
