looks like Petebilt is trying to do what Kenworth did with the W990 to me
take my 567 over any of these.
I like it bro looks awesome and unique
It’s 379 meets a lowmax and made a love child
I don’t even think it’s a love child it’s just a low max with a peterbilt hood and a unibuilt flat top.
It looks like a 579 cab basically.
I drove a 389 for 6 years and I got 6.5 to 7.5 mpg. That was with an ISX.
Tim what's your opinion on the Peterbilt 579?
Its no 1989 Plymouth voyager 2.5 turbo but it will do
Man that’s hideous
What's the fuel difference between the 579 and 589?
Tim my cimuter wont let me dm tect vou
It's close enough to the 389 but the bigger cab will be nice to get to the sleeper
If it were me, I would buy the 389 with the ISX Cummins and slip seat your senior drivers 1 run each so you can get multiple opinions before you simply swap out for a Series 60 Detroit. You never know when Detroit will go the way of the dodo
Looks like a 567 cab with 389 hood
Tim Iike it I'd like to see you get a couple for the fleet if I don't get this kw w990 I'd consider getting one merry Christmas and happy new year to you and your family. I'm still trying to make it home for Christmas I'm on the Ohio turnpike and I'm going to Maryland.
The only difference is the cab. It's not gonna significantly improve fuel mileage. Just being cheap having the same cab for all trucks.
Cab, looks like western star&breathers, photo shop?
Jim the reason I don't like them it's because they're all computerized computerized trucks break down too damn much as you can't fix them for a stupid damn wire you end up with a towing Bill and a truck down the older trucks I keep I don't like nothing more than a 2000 mine's a 97 I love the old thing I keep rebuilding it I think if you can you should do the same the new trucks are nothing but problems money money costing problems other than that yes I love them I've been doing it for 48 years and yes I love them I do not want to retire yet I'm 67 years old and lovey's trucks but now stay with your glider kit and your old truck my opinion
Wouldn't have it
If I was worried about fuel mileage buy a rooster snooter damm that thing
I think it’s a good compromise, looks better than the W990
Atleast 4 trucking companies around me with 389 x15 with little problem mast run quad axle dump trailers
Looks like a westernstar
That's not a bad looking truck the windshield and driver side windshield parallel looks like the 999 eagle international
Reminds me of the 359. Definitely gorgeous.
looks like a 579 cab to me, just with a hood on the front
More like a w990 the cab is …makes cab wider
Good lookin truck!
Pete took the 567 aero cab and just put a 389 hood. Not really a fan tbh. The EPA needs to just take a flying leap.
