The USGA is a nonprofit organization that celebrates, serves and advances the game of golf. Founded in 1894, we conduct many of golf’s premier professional and amateur championships, including the U.S. Open and U.S. Women’s Open. With The R&A, we govern the sport via a global set of playing, equipment, handicapping and amateur status rules. The USGA campus in Liberty Corner, New Jersey, is home to the Association’s Research and Test Center, where science and innovation are fueling a healthy and sustainable game for the future. The campus is also home to the USGA Golf Museum, where we honor the game by curating the world’s most comprehensive archive of golf artifacts. To learn more, visit https://www.usga.org.

  1. Looks like Koepka didn't have the right combination of chewing tobacco this week even though he was loaded up every day. Cheater. Dustin Johnson, Cheater, Bryan Harmon, Cheater, Sam Burns Cheater. Kisner Cheater. The list goes on and on. These guys might as well be on steroids. Chewing tobacco is a powerful drug that enhances performance. Monahan, Brandel and media turn their back on the issue. IT should be banned. Nobody has the balls to discuss this. I will keep pounding the drum on this until chewing tobacco is banned. Sports Illustrated. Anyone have the balls to write an article? Look what happened to Tony Gwynn. Look at his records. Look what happened to him. Throat cancer killed him. A lot of these golfers would not be on the tour without chewing tobacco.

  2. Go Rickie! But what really pisses me off is the LIV players – they bolted from the PGA because of the easy money, shorter schedule, guaranteed paydays, etc and now that LIV & the PGA are merging, I haven't heard a peep from any of those guys. Why? Makes me wonder what's really going on.

  3. Why does the coverage of USGA events stink so bad? This has been the worst one so far. How many times can you say marine layer and mention property values? The most disconnected organization in existence. It’s like watching paint dry.

  4. Let's all hope whoever wins gives all their ridiculous fortunes to those who need it most. Terrible greed, to hell with subscriptions needed these days to watch live golf on TV.

  6. I hope Ricky wins but I am just glad no LIV player is anywhere close to winning. Rory is loyal as is Scottie, Rahm and Schauffele to the PGA. Money isn't everything to great players. Just to LOSERS.

  7. The USGA stinks. They seem like they want to make golf so hard that NO ONE can play well. Why don't the just pave the green over with concrete? I'm sick of watching USGA events where they trick up the greens to be impossible. How is that good for the game of golf? Kids look at golf and think, "If the pros can't play this course, how can I"

  8. There doesn't seem to be a lot of spectators watching. Could it be that everyone has moved out of Newsom's California due to all the criminals running wild on the streets? BTW if you travel here to watch the Open, bring a gun to protect yourself from the homeless derelicts wandering around in drug induced stupors. They're easy to spot, they resemble zombies like you see on TV. Also be careful not to slip on the human feces all over the sidewalks.
