BIT OF A TWIST MY FANNY !!!!! HOW DID PETERSON GET 3rd WHEN HE WAS 1 LAP DOWN, EVEN GREG WHITE CALLED PAASCH taking 3rd. WHY WAS PETERSONS LAP GIVEN BACK YET PAASCHES PIT LANE PENALTY NOT EXCUSED. A NEW RACE IS A NEW RACE.. you cannot pick and chose .. NEW is NEW .. IF PAGENT EXCUSED PETERSON BEING 1 LAP DOWN, then you MUST MUST EXCUSE PASSCHES PIT LANE PENALTY… MotoAmerica is nothing but a advertising advocate for Yamaha and Suzuki.. Bit of a twist… so MotoAmerica Muckety mucks Scott Pagent is a stooge..he decided on a RESTART-NEW 10 lap race after a red flag w/ 1 lap left…SO, they make it brand NEW 10 lap race for all intents and purposes..the 52 previous laps are MOOT…and ASTONISHINGLY give Cam Peterson his lap back..the annoucers were even confused ..saying Petersons' running upfront and contending should be ignored because he's a lap down .. but WHOA .. MA gives Cam Peterson his lap back, but maintains Paasches 15 second penalty for exceeding pit lane speed .. so Paasches penalty stays, but Cam Peterson gets a lap back .DID I MISS SOMETHING .. the penalty to Herrin was chicken shit .. I mean HOLY SHIT MotoAmerica FUBAR F*cked Up Beyond All Reality .
Great race,it's a shame politics and poor officials ruined it 4 bp96,he earned that p2 and they screw him,but give everyone else all there laps back and take away there time penalties,bs by the stewards,#letsgobrandon96
Penalized? A'Holes. That was racing and Herrin was not doing a thing wrong. Maybe Eslick should have looked to his inside? BS politicians changing races outcomes. The leaders understand the risk. Aggression is how you lead.
Great riders, great action, no one watching, road racing in America in a nut shell. I'm a geezer old enough to remember when Daytona was the biggest single race in the world, attracting the top teams & factories. One can only wish it could be like that again, but I'm just dreamin.
Yes Herrin is a beast but in that incident with Richie he clearly took him out , Escalante was ahead and leaned over in the turn and Josh came from behind and bumped him out of the way. Thats the way I saw it.

Those last 5 laps was like watching 125s, drafting and passing madness! Happy for Herrin taking the win. I didn't agree with the pnalty against him.
