  1. Hi Steve, just bought this TV. Connected up to a marantz sound system but we get a squiggly sound? Instead of voices etc. on certain channels as well as Netflix. This doesn’t happen when just using tv sound. Also have a thick hdmi cable. Any suggestions?

  2. After several firmware updates Samsung QN90B is a piece of garbage. Viewing angles are terrible. Incredibly huge blooming while watching not at a right angle. I bought QN90B and I'm desperately waiting for the next firmware update because now QN90B is trash.

  3. The QN90B is a very good TV so far. Bright as hell.
Blooming is so minimal that at times it comes pretty close to OLED. The black level is beautiful and deep black. Don't be fooled, this one really comes close to OLED!
The sound of the TV itself is very good for a reasonably flat TV. Dolby Atmos is great.
Convenient Home menu with clear place for your favorite apps. It all works intuitively and quite smoothly.
The Tv comes with a very handy and light remote that charges itself with a solar cell or via usb c. So no more searching for batteries.
The build quality is very good as we have come to expect from Samsung. Finally the central support is back…. A very heavy solid metal support.
    In short…here a very satisfied Samsung QE65QN90B user. 😉

  4. I game for a living and spend many many hours doing so sometimes 24 h sessions playing the same game with the games interface on the screen constant. They advertised that this never will get screen burn and offered a 10 year screen burn guarantee on QLEDS something that they no longer do on any of their QLED range, there must be a reason they removed this guarantee .
I want to buy this but removing the guarantee has my alarm bells ringing.

  5. Downvoted for not having the size in the title or even description or video intro… all these other specs thrown around and this shows up in search even though it's not what I had entered in the search bar… along with quotes like "different depending on which size you get" while literally not even stating the size of the TV that is viewed in this video… unfckingbelievable…

  6. Hey Steve. Thank you for the video. Great review and very detailed. I am hovering between the QN90B and QN95B in 85".
In my local marked the QN95B is just 7-8% more expensive at the moment. Just not sure which to choose. I think they are both great tv´s with the 95 having a bit more points og different areas.
I have seen both side by side.
Also i like the one connect box. I have that on my old 65" JU7005. Is worth going for the QN95B with the new processor and one connect box?

  7. Again, sorry forgot to ask, I have a Samsung Q80T Series 55" QLED 4K (2160p) UHD Smart TV with HDR (2020 Model), what is the difference between this model and the one you're showing. Sorry for the silly question. Is it worth it to upgrade?

  9. Spread the word, SAMSUNG broke Bluetooth on almost all their TVs recently with their last firmware update (QN90A 2001 was perfect, 2111 broken). Causes the Sony XM5, and possibly other Sony products to buzz them crash or disconnect.

  10. Steve just wondering if you can quickly explain the main differences between this and last years model? (80 series). Looking at the 75 in model. 80 series is on sale for 1599 and the 90 series is on sale for 2299. Just wondering if the newer model is worth the 700 increase in price. Thanks. Great videos.

  11. I want to buy a new 4K TV,

and wow these pictures look amazing on my 12 year old plasma samsung with a resolution of 1080i (interlaced)

with plenty of dead pixels, burn-ins, dirty effects.

I can only make one decision : keep that fantastic 12 year old plasma – which still displays the amazing colors of the Qn90b

    😂😂😂

p.s. seriously : it makes no sense at all looking and judging the quality of a TV on another TV!

  12. Hi Steve, I am considering QN90B, I have now the Q60T model … I am in 75” size now and also want them same size … is it worth or should I wait for something better? In 2023? My room is quite bright and I don’t want OLED, I just don’t like it

  13. I just bought this model. It was a toss-up between it and the Sony X95K; I chose the Samsung. After careful analysis. For my reasons, I chose to go with the mini-LED platform rather than OLED/QD OLED. I discovered minimal difference between this and the 95 model. The QN95B comes with variable 120/144hz refresh rate and the One Connect; the QN90B does not. The casual owner will be unable to differentiate between the two displays. Rtings evaluated these, and both 75" models have 720 local dimming zones. Rtings is a good resource tool for device specifications. However, their ratings don't overrule viewer experience. I've seen all high-end manufacturer models and wouldn't be able to tell one from another. TVs have gotten that good. Good review. Thanks. You were helpful in my choice.

Thanks for the review on this TV Steve it was Excellent what I'd like to see in the future on your TV reviews Is more information on the Bluetooth of the TV you're reviewing…like is it running 4.2 or 5.0 What can be hooked up to it 1 pair of headphones or 2 pairs at once Does it have Dual audio where you can hook up 2 Bluetooth speakers or just one or maybe it's a low energy Bluetooth like they use in some Vizio TVs and are limited … you know Important Bluetooth stuff …Thanks

  16. To samsung qn90b , on 1430.1 firmware , the motion looks too smooth , even with motion settings disabled. In Filmmaker mode, this problem is also present. To firmware 1310.1 motion was verry good for movies . In menu service what is the diferences between those two firmwares , to the motion and bfi settings ?
