Reminds me of my aunt’s car, she bought a gorgeous dark green Mercedes E420 brand new in 1998, which was actually her first car. As she had never owned a car or even driven all that much before (my uncle always took her everywhere she needed to go in his car before he passed about a year before she bought the car) within the first months of owning it she scraped the whole rear side of it with her garage door, she got a flat tire and took out one of the side mirrors with a tree… which she fixed with tape. She owned that car until 2016, by then it was absolutely destroyed, it had developed some mechanical and electrical issues as she always forgot to service it properly, the paint looked awful as she almost never washed it as it sat unused for months outside as she preferred using the subway or take cabs. She then gave it to one of my cousins, who used it to get to school until the transmission died three years later, after that they junked it, it only had 70,000km on it 😔 She had no car until last year when she bought a new Volvo XC60, which we hope she takes good care of.
60 large in 02 equals 110,000 today
Have car care nut save it!
I would want this car still :X
$60k car and treats it like a Chevy Cobalt. What a shame.
Those were phenomenal cars!!!! If it was in nice shape. I would drive one today!!!
One owner or ten its 22 yrs old
Just another Toyota. Dear Jesus don't let Scotty see this video.
Some people don't deserve Luxury Vehicles 😪
What happened to the x3 next to it
Drove the Wheels off it for 22 years. Not bad.3 Grand a year. Plus everything you didn't do to the hooptie.
this is one of those "single family owned" type cars
So not a garage queen. The owner really got his money’s worth out of it for sure.
The car completed its purpose.
That car probably still runs
probably handed down to a family member who treated it like trash.
Over $100k in today's money. Insane.
I wonder if an older person owned it and couldn't take care of it as they aged. Same thing happens with houses. Sad.
$105K with inflation
(L)uxury(EX)port(US)
Wow, and $60k is a lot now and even more back then. Must have just not taken care of it.
I would definitely put this car up there with the greats!! This car didnt deserve this!
People are slobs
Why do you have to pay a $575 fee, for pocessing and handling? Sounds like a rip-off to me. Can someone please explain? Thanks.
106k in 2024
" BUT.OTHER THAN THAT, ITS A LEXUS "!
I got a 1996 Cadillac coupe deville that's absolutely pristine some people don't know how to act
It would be completely worth it to restore that car. It’s a few cosmetics and major cleaning. I know the engine and transmission are perfect.
What are the miles?
The fact it just says Toyota under the missing plastic trim lmao 💀
Love how the fenders are stamped toyota. So was it actually a "high end luxury car, or a fancier camery?
Last great car they made.
Were cars in the usa this much cheaper?
My E46 330i cost 65k$ in 2002.
Shame for that owner not taking care of. What's the mileage? and give us an update Great content by the way
Still good work car for comuting
That car crusher has a built-in drain for oil and has a drain pan captured the oil
WHY!!! WHY!!WHY!!!
It may hv been 1 owner but let the family drive it.
Like HOW do you tear up a car that bad!?
It’s a Toyota, base line Luxury. I guess it’s “ultimate luxury” if you’re poor.
Ultimate Asian Flex
You have to do a lot to make these cars useless. 430 might be the most well built car ever.
Guarantee it still runs
Probably old person owned, then the kid got it. That’s what happened with my car😔
Ouch! That’s had a really rough unloved life and costs £47,328.19 in conversion rate
