Spider-Man: No Way Home is a 2021 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. It is the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), and the 27th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film was directed by Jon Watts and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. It stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man alongside Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Benedict Wong, Tony Revolori, Marisa Tomei, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire. In the film, Parker asks Dr. Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch) to use magic to make his identity as Spider-Man a secret again following its public revelation at the end of Far From Home. When the spell goes wrong because of Parker’s actions, the multiverse is broken open, which allows visitors from alternate realities to enter Parker’s universe.
A third MCU Spider-Man film was planned during the production of Homecoming in 2017. Negotiations between Sony and Marvel Studios to alter their deal—in which they produce the Spider-Man films together—ended with Marvel Studios leaving the project in August 2019, but a negative fan reaction led to a new deal between the companies a month later. Watts, McKenna, Sommers, and Holland were set to return, and filming took place from October 2020 to March 2021 in New York City and Atlanta. No Way Home features several actors reprising their roles from non-MCU Spider-Man films directed by Sam Raimi and Marc Webb, including previous Spider-Man actors Maguire and Garfield. The involvement of both actors was the subject of wide speculation and numerous leaks despite the efforts of Sony, Marvel, and the cast to conceal their involvement.
Spider-Man: No Way Home premiered at the Fox Village Theatre in Los Angeles on December 13, 2021, and was theatrically released in the United States on December 17, as part of Phase Four of the MCU. The film received generally positive reviews from critics and grossed over $1.9 billion worldwide, surpassing its predecessor as the highest-grossing film released by Sony Pictures. It became the highest-grossing film of 2021, the sixth-highest-grossing film of all time, the highest grossing Spider-Man film, and set several other box office records, including those for films released during the COVID-19 pandemic. The film received a nomination for Best Visual Effects at the 94th Academy Awards, among numerous other accolades. An extended version of the film, subtitled The More Fun Stuff Version, had a global theatrical release in September 2022. A sequel is in development.

I liked no way home (bcz of the ending) but I'm pretty sure this film will not age well
The scene where Doc Ock is freed from the A.I. arms is just a masterclass in acting. Alfred Molina is fantastic. Seeing that moment for the first time is when it hit me — oh wait, we're watching an actual honest-to-god thespian instead of CGI men jumping around on a green screen.
Also, I love the little joke where Electro asks Peter if the Lego belong to him, because you can't tell if Electro's making fun of him or if he's asking because he wants to play with them. Jamie's delivery of the line was great.
This film has so much writing problem💀. Other than that, the cgi is so bad at places and camera work is so shitty in the fight scenes. The film looks cheap imo. I loved this film in initial viewings but the more i re-watch it the more i find more problems although i still like it bcz of the ending of Tom's peter
I want to add to clear up the plot holes I think visually they showed how these characters aren’t the exact same characters we know from the original movie and how they were sending the villains back different then they were so the timeline would change and it shows also how these characters aren’t the same

I think it was pretty clear that Flash got into MIT because he's not actually Peters friend and people realize that. I believe there's a line after Flash asks, "You guys didn't get in?" And Ned replies "Yeah, because we're actually friends with Spider-Man." Also I don't think Peter chose not to tell Ned and MJ who he was because it would be difficult to convince them, he didn't tell them because he realized they were kind of better off without him in their lives. Free from the constant threat of danger that being friends with Spider-Man brings. Which is even more gut wrenching.
This is awesome man. I'm always down to hear your thoughts on Spider-Man, but this series of retrospectives has been such a treat to see. Good stuff 😎👍✨️
This movie was needed. And to me, it was perfect.❤🕷️🕷️🕷️🕸️🕸️🕸️
dude said geography instead of geometry
Geometry not geography
Class video! I've been looking for a quality Tobey mask replica for a while. Just wondering where you got yours?
Here the potholes in no way home
1. Ock saying norman when green goblin appears
2. Villains being sent back o their universe dying dosen't make sense since all of them didn't died
3. Electro being there even though he doesn't know who Peter
4. Sandman being angry at spiderman even though tom said he would help get back home
I still despise the ending of this movie. I love MJ x Peter in this. I love Peter and Ned's friendship! Peter could have had Strange make everyone Forget SPIDERMAN instead of Peter Parker! It would've been better if Peter had DIED!
When I saw the Jamie Fox leak I thought naw they are not going to do a multiversesnmovie until I saw the multiple confirmations of older Spider-Man actors and character my mind completely changed.
@33:36 you mean geometry not geography I’m sure 😊
Yes I meant geometry not geography. Cotton mouth moment.
Thank you for the I’m here surprise
I just want to mention that Sony was the true winner when it came to the Spider-Man deal with Disney: Disney was being way too greedy and wanted more money from Sony's films, to which Sony said no (obviously).
Disney's a huge conglomerate and was still making billions off of the properties they own (for the most part), so wanted a 50/50 split of profits from the Sony films, and wanting more creative control wasn't gonna fly with Sony. Then they (Disney) were acting like a bitter ex-girlfriend over losing Spider-Man because Sony said no to their deal.
Obviously, Disney (probably hesitantly) agreeing to getting only 25% of the profits from the films with Sony agreeing to that gave Sony the opportunity to properly close out their first MCU trilogy in the way that it did, while subtly giving Disney a few middle fingers here and there such as referring to Tom Holland's Spider-Man as "Iron Man Jr" in the No Way Home film itself, and cutting him off from the safety net with the Avengers, making him completely independent just like classic Spider-Man.
I absolutely loved this movie
As a close friend of Tom, I can confirm the phone story was real. It wasn’t a breach of NDA since there was nothing against the NDA that was broken.
Saying Nana Lola is basically a replication of the Chai Tea ATSV scene 🤣 As a Wasian Filipino, Lola means grandmother so ur saying it twice like how u say Chai not Chai Tea in the ATSV scene. Just found that funny
I believe Tom Holland
