20 Years Later, is Kevin still the same?

Way before all the TRUCKS TV and Powerblock and Powernation Kevin Tetz was on DIY network with a show called Classic Rides, and I looked like a little kid! This is a section of an instructional video I created in 2004 called “Xtreme Detailing” which had tons of great content, including pick and file techniques for restoring stainless steel trim, aluminum polishing, pinstriping, Buffing paint and paint restoration. I also answer a few current questions at the end, so don’t forget to watch till the ending for some great Q&A. Vicegrip Garage is helping me with ideas on what might be good content here on YouTube, so if you also want to chime in I’d appreciate your feedback as well. I’ve enjoyed a 20 year Television career in automotive How-To shows, and I’m trying to create my own brand here on Youtube… so thanks for watching!!! KT

  1. I love what you do, and thank you for doing this for years. You've imparted knowledge of DIY bodywork that most don't know. I'm reassured and learn tips with most videos. What you do is labor intensive and I'm glad you're still able to do it.

Thank you, because many can't physically perform anymore. This is why you should listen to people with experience. They made mistakes and learned from it.

  2. I've watched you for years on the powerblock and I have never been ok with bodywork. Using the knowledge I've learned from you I was able to replace the rocker panels on my daughters car last year and they look great! Your knowledge sharing made me comfortable and confident in tackling that project. Thanks for all you do!!

  3. I bought videos from you way back when you had a mullet and through your great teachings and professionalism i could paint a car in my garage (and be safe doing it) and i have painted several cars since with great results, very fun learning to do this and having videos to always go back to and study again is such a good way of learning.

  4. Kevin I love that you are constantly demanding the use of protective equipment. We only get 2 eyes and 2 lungs and 2 ears, and I wanna see stuff and hear stuff and breathe when I'm old!
