Way before all the TRUCKS TV and Powerblock and Powernation Kevin Tetz was on DIY network with a show called Classic Rides, and I looked like a little kid! This is a section of an instructional video I created in 2004 called “Xtreme Detailing” which had tons of great content, including pick and file techniques for restoring stainless steel trim, aluminum polishing, pinstriping, Buffing paint and paint restoration. I also answer a few current questions at the end, so don’t forget to watch till the ending for some great Q&A. Vicegrip Garage is helping me with ideas on what might be good content here on YouTube, so if you also want to chime in I’d appreciate your feedback as well. I’ve enjoyed a 20 year Television career in automotive How-To shows, and I’m trying to create my own brand here on Youtube… so thanks for watching!!! KT

I love what you do, and thank you for doing this for years. You've imparted knowledge of DIY bodywork that most don't know. I'm reassured and learn tips with most videos. What you do is labor intensive and I'm glad you're still able to do it.
Thank you, because many can't physically perform anymore. This is why you should listen to people with experience. They made mistakes and learned from it.
I've watched you for years on the powerblock and I have never been ok with bodywork. Using the knowledge I've learned from you I was able to replace the rocker panels on my daughters car last year and they look great! Your knowledge sharing made me comfortable and confident in tackling that project. Thanks for all you do!!
That was a walk down memory lane!! Thank You for that. Can't believe the rubber eraser is that old.
Like the background music.
Rattle paint fades in sun as I have found out.
Hi Kevin. I remember watching you restore a Harley Panhead, but I can't remember the name of the show. Is there any way to get those episodes? Thanks .
Old school KT! With the casio keyboard tunes…
What was that car that you did the pin stripe on? I remember seeing this episode years ago.
Love your videos and tutorials,i have learned alot of them ! I learned how to do body work, prep ,how to paint and how correct paint defects 👍
Ehhh.. I think you lost your touch. I think I should do a body restoration on my Chevelle to prove that you still got it. 😁
I bought videos from you way back when you had a mullet and through your great teachings and professionalism i could paint a car in my garage (and be safe doing it) and i have painted several cars since with great results, very fun learning to do this and having videos to always go back to and study again is such a good way of learning.
Good stuff, Kevin. Thanks for sharing.
When you popped up on ViceGrip Garage, I thought you looked and sounded familiar.
Thanks for sharing this video. It was great to see this information.
I still have my Paintucation VHS tapes. 🙂
Fantastic, what a great collection.
Hey KT great stuff and awesome info. Can't wait to see some of the things you have planned. Keep up the great work and best of luck with all you do.
I remember the first time I saw you on TV Kevin was with Steve Magnante restoring an old Thunderbird
Crazy, I am not sure if its contract items or what that took so long but its good to see a bunch of the old Saturday morning car guys on youtube now.
One of my favorite hosts and over all nice intelligent guy. Kevin Tits is the best!
👍🏽
Kevin I love that you are constantly demanding the use of protective equipment. We only get 2 eyes and 2 lungs and 2 ears, and I wanna see stuff and hear stuff and breathe when I'm old!
Love that your making regular videos again Kevin and I saw you using Dupli-Color on your touch up video! I had a great time with you when you were on Power Block. Always good to see you at SEMA as well. Keep up the great content!…..Brian
Kevin Thanks for your time appreciate You sharing your experience and knowledge for so many years! There is a high heat products zycor /zybar just wanted to know if you have ever tried or used these products and would like to hear your opinion about them? Wishing you the best moving forward!
There's something going on with your mic audio. Its mostly left channel. Some right but heavy left channel.
