I knew about the Potoo because I saw a post about “a rare encounter with a South American ‘ghost bird’” on Instagram.
And also about the Kakapo because of a mha fanfiction called “Canary” that mentioned about how the kakapo could apparently reach around 130 decibels in its mating call.
