  2. The strongest pirate consolidates his forces, secures the resources and starts taxing. People start standardizing bricks taxing them, and forming labor unions. Pretty soon, the people that control everything tell us we are running out of sand, everything is regulated and you can't build a nice house for under 400,000 dollars.

  3. Hi Dr. Miano. What about the so-called pyramid Gunung Padang on Java Island, Indonesia. It is claimed to be the oldest pyramid at 25ky long before the Younger Dryas…lol.
Pls shed what it might be.

  4. It seems as if these discoveries are listed in order of importance, but both the Tartessian busts and the pyramid in Kazakhstan are clearly more important than a 'declassified' Roman fort.
(Interesting discoveries, anyway – and interesting (and great) that such amazing finds are still being made.)

  5. Great list. The expression on the faces of those beautiful Tartessian sculptures closely so resembles the famous Greek "Archaic Smile" that we see in the eastern Mediterranean in the same period that there must have been artistic exchanges, presumably associated with maritime commercial networks.

I've always been fascinated by ancient (especially pre-Roman) Iberia, and I'd love a video on the Tartessian civilization… or the Iberians, Celt-Iberians, Lusitani, Aquitani, etc. Phoenician colonialism in the western Mediterranean is also a fascinating subject.

  6. I like to travel…15 countries so far. Always to beach and countryside destinations.
2024 is going to be different. I intend to start my archeological journey now.
    I absolutely ❤ archeology!!
    Thanks for your videos.

  7. Why does no one talk about the North American twice documented Mound in Northeastern Ohio? Twice the size of Monks Mound Cahokia! A 15,000 yr. old Advanced Ancient City Ohio epa/dnr permitting destroyed for a dump and gravel pit ?

  8. The pyramids of Egypt, and other megalithic structures were chemical reactors as proven beyond a reasonable doubt by Geoff Drumm. I have archeological and geologic peer reviewed evidence that dates construction to 14k years.

  9. A big Thank You for putting this on a “proper’ video David / Prof. Miano! I was gutted when I saw similar roundups come up as ‘Live’ shows. I cannot bear all the waiting and faffing about between items in that format and so never watch them now. I am a big fan of your channel and greatly appreciate all your work. Very best wishes from Dorset, UK, for the holiday period and 2024. 🇬🇧
