Let me tell you what… one piece is LOOONNNGG. But the writing is top tier. The early seasons may look like crap to some but you have to watch it because the character development is insane. Like even side characters come back in later seasons and make you go holy SHHHHH is that really insert name from season 1 or 2. Just wild. Maybe watch it in 25 episode pieces lol. It is over 1k eps

I’m the same way, I’ve watched the first 3-4 episodes and it wasn’t bad, but didn’t grab me. But lots of people whose opinions I trust day it’s one of the best shows and to stick with it. So going to give “One Piece” a shot again. The game looks like something I’ll pick up day 1 just because I like JRPG’s.

I love One Piece, I think the only reasons I like it more Naruto is the StorIes and how easy to remember the main characters names. It at 1014 episodes and the series most likely in 2027 or 2028 according to the creator back like 2019 that the series is 70% over with. But in the end dude, the won’t even be the top 10 longest anime episodes. They had to hit close to 2,000 to be the top 10 and over 7,500 to be number 1. But totally down for this game.

Watch the One Pace project, you start from chapter 1 but they cut all the "filler scenes" in the anime you know just two characters starring at each other before fighting for 1 minute and its saves a lot of time. I am a big fan and have watched it complete since the begging but for new commers this is the best option or like you said just play the Pirate Warriors games and they resume the story very well.
Or obviously the best option is to read the manga you can do it pretty fast knowing there are no fillers there.
