Jian and Phoenix were part of a law enforcement seizure case early last year. They were with 2 other horses, 1 mini, and 2 goats. Unfortunately, one of the horses didn’t make it, but we took custody of Jian, Phoenix, Chakora, mini Sundae, and goats Chai and Boba in late summer of 2022. For the rest of 2022 they were rehabilitated and retrained.
In March, 2023, Jian and Phoenix were adopted together into a loving home where they were ridden by a young girl. Unfortunately, their family situation has changed and we were asked to take them back in. Every horse that comes through our rescue has a safety net for life, and we were happy to bring these girls home.
They are both in good health and good spirits. Although a bittersweet situation, it is good to see these girls again ❤️

I'm very happy to see them 😊
So happy u can take them back to their home. What a privilege for them and happy they both were happy to return. Beautiful ❤️🥰 thank you for your support and patience with them.
i hope things work out for the previous owners. It must have been hard for them to bring the girls back, but at least they knew the girls would continue to have a good life. What a lovely thing for all of you!
Thank you for taking so much time to do such wonderful videos. I appreciate all of you so much. 🙂
Horses teeth still growing at 28 years!
Sadly with the economy the way it is also the way it’s heading, you and many other rescues could be seeing more returns as well as new drop offs.
Let’s hope not, but it’s a real possibility.
I think it’s great you take them back.
May GOD richly bless you for what you do. 🙏❤️
Thanks for the long video on these two. I always enjoy getting a glimpse into the work that you do with the horses. That they settled in so quickly is a tribute to the work that you do with them❤nice job!
Thank you for everything you do ❤
Whomever you are, thank you for contacting MSE & letting them know things have changed. It was the right thing to do. It was not easy, I am sure. I hope your family situation stabilizes & that you will find happiness & most of all, peace.
They look good. I hope they gave the humans a few months of joy and comfort and the same for them.
