  1. The demand for Now That We Don't Talk and Suburban Legends being prolonged is ultimately satisfied through "Is It Over Now?" and I'm here for that! I claimed Suburban Legends after the vault tracks were released, and although I wasn't expecting it to sound like that (like we all were with Slut!), I loved it. There's something about the way she sings "Suburban Legends" that stimulates dopamine in my brain the way she sings "Aurora borealis green" from Snow on the Beach. During my first listen, I thought about its production as if Bejewelled and Mastermind had a kid. And then, yesterday, I couldn't stop listening to Is It Over Now? There's just something inexplicable about it that I'm very hooked on. This is by far the best set of vault tracks from her re-recording that I can listen to all day.

  2. You are so right, Alex. “Now that we don’t talk,” makes me want to strut down on the street! The vibes in that song have made it my favorite vault track! It’s so good, but I wish it were longer!

“Is it over now?” is a very close second for me! I adore it so much!

It’s funny. When I first heard the vault tracks, I would have picked “Say don’t go,” as my favorite. But the order has changed the more that I listen to them. Now the ranking order is completely different!

  3. Love all of your reactions, esp together 🫶✨ however this song is so OOTW coded. Red blood, white snow. Remember when you hit the brakes too soon, 20 stitches in a hospital room. But the echoed “Ahhh” is OOTW 😅

  4. imo All the Vault tracks have Midnights overtones. "Is It Over Now?" easily the best Vault track, I would almost say that it's possibly best track on 1989 (TV). PS Taylor has already said that "Is It Over Now?" is a sister track to Out of the Woods. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QY0lE1FjVQ&t=92s (Very clickbaity title on the video mind) So many Harry references in virtually all the Vault tracks. I would agree that Jack has brought his Midnights production to the Vault tracks as even if these songs have been heavily rewritten (we don't know as they are all first time listens), she was more likely to put the production values of her latest album on them than a "2014" 1989 style on them

  5. the drop and chorus of Say Dont Go scratches such a good itch in my brain, THIS IS THE BEST VAULT YET. Say Don't Go was also written with Diane Warren who was HUGE in the 80s songwriting scene. She's iconic.
