OMG seriously – the BBC?! Get a frk grip.
Wow this is so nostalgic for me, Thank you!
Neighbours is almost as old as EastEnders. Now if they could only get rid of EastEnders
Don't It Make You Feel Good
Having just watched the finale, the interview really hits all the feels. Farewell "Neighbours". Thanks for all the memories…..
Heyyyyyyyyy Mona!
This is a cool upload – well timed.
Iconic
Guy Pearce in Neighbours, wow . Quality Actor…..
I haven't watched Neighbours for nearly 30 years but the younger generation will never understand how massive this show was and what a big part of life it was growing up in the late 80s, early 90s..
Thank you for the memories.
The show will be pulled within a year, and you'll never hear from any of those actors again, mark my words.
Kylie sounds very different now. Thanks for the memories
Fantastic. I was looking for this very interview, and see it was uploaded just a few days back. I saw this interview at the time. I must have had the day off school. Watching at the time, I guessed Kylie and Jason were likely a real life item. I also noticed Danny Ramsay wasn't there, and wondered what was going on, there. Of course Shane Ramsay wasn't, either (but both were still in the UK run).
๐๐37 years of crap coming to an end.Thank f**k for that. Why has corrie lasted? That will go on forever
Quite ironic seeing as how the BBC got rid of it to relace it with home grown drivel which probably cost infinitely MORE to make than it did to import Neighbours…
Sad to think that Myra De Groot passed away 6 months after this interview.
What a great little gem from the archive. Thanks for uploading it. ๐
Rerun neighbours from the start and end Eastenders
Omg Kylie looks Fing gorgeous
No one going to comment on the young Eamonn holmes.
It's strange seeing Eamonn Holmes not fat!
Michael Gascoigne's jumper making the camera go faulty. ๐
I love how they asked about Max Ramsay and the cast were squirming awkwardly. Max was sacked as he was causing problems though they were true professionals and didn't mention it
Shame the BBC couldn't be bothered to support this Aussie icon after 2008#20million.
๐๐ฆ๐บ๐
Australians proving theyโre more normal than the weird British viewing public?
Myra de Groot is English Cockney born in London and Guy Pearce Born in ELY Cambridgeshire UK. Same with many others born in the UK Mrs Mangel Born in the UK , Daphne Born in Scotland, Jackie Woodbourne in Ireland. Benji Mcnair plays Malcom Kennedy Born in London UK.
Neighbourhoods RIP ๐ชฆ you had a good run
Late 80's Madge… "Char-leen"
That last audience question was dripping in misogyny and it being the 80s no one knew they could call it out. Sign of the times.
Alan Dale really was quite dishy. I was 18 back then and thought he was quite old ๐
